R.I.P. That's wayyyy too young.

I remember hearing about his diagnosis. Pancreatic cancer is practically impossible to survive sadly. I buried a good friend 4 years ago from the same cancer.

The problem is that the disease has usually spread to other organs by the time it’s diagnosed. Early detection can be treated successfully ( l actually know 2 survivors) but that rarely happens because it’s usually symptomless in early stages. Five years survival rates are about 5%. It’s a truly horrific disease and this case is particularly sad given the age of the poor man .

RIP Liam, should have stayed at least another year or two at Celtic to develop. His performances in the champions league had us all believing we had the new Roy Keane
