IT's the French isn't it. Btw not an attack on them :D .Some of my best friends are French. It's pretty noticeable though. From xupi to jolinidien. The only one who seem not as pessimistic are laurent and Heymans, possibly because they know Fijians. :smug: ;)

Well I would say Wales would win it, but who would vote for a bunch of no hopers like us?

Nah the Welsh are among the most optimistic. Considering your neighbours are the English.

Yarpies are the most hyperbolically pessimistic and the most unrealistically optimistic. They can go from kak to kings in the space of a week, or even during a game.

As soon as I read the thread title, I thought: The Frenchists have this one in the bag.

Surely it's the Japanese. Kiwias is the most pessimistic poster on here about his adopted country (possibly legitimately).

Deffo the French. I've noticed it a lot recently, even had a post about it in another thread.

I was thinking the French as well even before I opened the thread. Seems unusual as you wouldn't really associate it with French people off the board but I guess it is probably because their team has been so pants for so long now and it is not if throwing more money around or getting more players seems to change things.

I love starting shit with Saffas on here because all it takes is a couple of prods and they're clawing at each other.

I blame Sartre personally.

And his friends.

Dark morning today. About to snow again. So cold.

Bit harsh though as they're not able to defend themselves atm. They're all in bed, and will be so for probably three hours at least

I think I read somewhere that even IRL the French have a pretty pessimistic outlook generally. More so than even depressing Eastern European countries. My policy is not to look up the facts I remember before posting them but I might try dig this out.

Edit: Add to that, its the only country where immigrants get progressively more pessimistic over time.

Lol. Three posters, either non-resident or non-Kiwi arguing about who's more Kiwi.

Surely the Nordie Irish.

"we have no props, they exterminated our scrum-half, we have no academy, we have no fit back-rows, our coaches are crap etc."

Still, they have got Brexit.

I reckon you would have to give it to the yanks given how many more guns and their accessories are sold every time someone mentions the slightest thought of making their availability more strict
