Is it possible the rugby is of a lower standard?

After the training camp fiasco, and the switching to picking overseas based players that will happen imminently, it is clear that NZ rugby is on a decline.

You also don't have access to West African genetics and prime slabs of Saxon/Viking beef.

What makes it even funnier is, that NZ coaches are giving English coaches knowledge that we will use to beat you in the future! Talk about short term thinking.

Translated as England have no coaching talent available  Sad state of affairs Bro when we have to send blokes up North to train your lot in order to have something to play in the off season.

5-0

I'm not quite sure what your IQ has to do with the debate :?:

Yeah. He noticed your place of residence, but your profile pic just passed him by.
Unless he thinks England are capable of stringing together 5 successive (instead of their usual once every decade) wins over NZ.

Who has profile pics turned on? That's terrible forumming. I just assumed that someone in Australia talking about sending coaches up north would be referring to Eddie Jones, because England don't have any kiwi coaches and it wouldn't make sense for a kiwi to say that. I keep overestimating you guys :?

You’re right, the game was quite attractive in the late ‘80s.

Eddie’s England would send us back at least 60 years :((

21 points scored vs 15.

Of course, England scored 2 tries in yesterday's turgid game...

21 points, divisible by 3 for a very good reason.

2 tries in a competition with bonus points is practically no tries. No wonder the kiwi TMO fell asleep

I can't argue against "if you consider 2 to be 0 then England scored no tries" :x

Holy hell - have you seen the ticket prices for the game?

Have your guys agreed to profit share and increased the prices to cover? Or are they just creaming it?

England vs New Zealand ticket prices revealed ahead of first meeting in four years
The much-anticipated New Zealand showdown with Eddie Jones men in November is being billed as the richest one-off Test in history with top-priced England vs All Blacks ticket prices set to cost an incredible £195.
The All Blacks, the world’s number one-ranked side, will face an England side – ranked second – for the first time in four years when they clash on Saturday, December 10, 2018 in London.

A family of four wishing to watch the All Blacks Test in the premium seating area would have to pay “a shade under £800,” a report in the Daily Mail said.

England’s Rugby Football Union (RFU) has defended the England vs All Blacks ticket prices

“We haven’t yet finalised ticket pricing for the 2018/19 season, including the England v New Zealand game, which is our prime fixture next season,” a RFU spokesperson said.

“We always have a range of prices at Twickenham, and the top price is typically paid by no more than 10 percent of the fans.

“At the England v Wales (Six Nations) match on Saturday – where demand massively exceeded supply – our ticket prices started at £41, which is highly competitive.

The Daily Mail noted that Wales charged £100 for top tickets to the All Blacks Test last November and were accused of profiteering.

Although it's nice to give a fellow 6N team a good stuffing now and again, there is a vicarious pleasure in beating Wales under dubious circumstances. They'll keep moaning about it for decades. Perhaps when the inevitable moral victory is claimed, one bright spark will also point out that this would make Wales morally second in the IRB rankings? It'll probably be a race to the keyboard between Clive and Dai. Stands by for the infant school level insults.

There are 2 Clive which one.

It's a regular window Test so no profit share.

There was a price freeze this season after the RFU took a lot of flak last time out.

But there's a new CEO in situ and the freeze isn't due to last beyond the season so all bets are off. Hopefully the media exerts enough pressure that they back down, they get more creative with the scaling or it was a rumour all along.

Just the Daily Mail getting their wires crossed. £195 is the expected sterling value for the NZ$100 tickets by the time the match comes around.

For a game that's not close to being on sale yet and no one knows the pricing or ko time?

This legalised scamming needs looking at if so.

Nor should you be - but this loss should be good for us - we were never as good as we were being portrayed. Too much deadwood in the team - might need another couple of losses to galvanise Eddie into some more positive selections. I'm counting on your guys to help us out there.
