For the 1st time i could see what the hype about Willemse was all about. He looks excellent with the ball in hand with an eye for a gap, his tackling has improved since last year and he kicked competently.

Waratahs away...should be an easy 5 points for the Stormers with PSDT back

Ramone Samuals is not good enough for this level.
Willemse is a bit hot and cold, but a great threat in attack. Just give him a kopklap for the charge down
Our backline broke the line with ease, but then struggled to convert.

How Samuels had his contract renewed is beyond me. He is a club player at best. Bongi's medical emergency is a big blow to the Stormers. Everyone is going to target our lineouts. Those initial bad throws and the yellow card were pivitol moments and he could have lost us the game. Why are we struggling to produce decent hookers?

Willemse was brilliant. I also liked the option of him standing at outside centre at times when we were exiting in our 25. He kept the opposition defenders honest and created a lot more space out wide. I thought Senatla was also good. We need to sort out the defense on high kicks. Maybe shift Damian or EW to wing on defence.

One of Willemse's strengths is his running with the ball in both hands. Keeps the defenders guessing.

It's mind-boggling that a youngster barely out of school is already better than a seasoned veteran like Elton Jantjies.

I noticed that most of the Stormers backline were doing this. Even DDA to score his try. Perhaps it's something they've all worked on off season, and very good to see.

Jannie was pretty kak at the start of his career. Many looseheads broke him at the start of his career.
