Alternative Six Nations table

Posted: Tue Feb 13, 2018 4:42 pm
by Dai another day
1. Ireland - 9 points
2. Wales - 9 points
3. England - 6 points

4. Meh
5. Who cares
6. Rubbish

I believe Wales B would have won had the try been given. The apology from World Rugby doesn't change the result officially but unofficially I believe it does.

Dai is making the England victory all the sweeter.

Apologies to all the normal Welsh chaps, you have been very gracious as always but this fecker is a tool of the greatest magnitude

Well that's that then. Dai says so, so it must be true. Grand slam to follow, as surely nobody could beat Wales without cheating.

Im not sure it’s that simple. I believe the World rugby admission actually officially unofficially changes the result...

Check the stats. The score is a misnomer which has be officially discarded by world rugby.

I wouldn't normally do this but as this is "one of those" threads, "Points per ratio of population" is about as meaningful as the original post. For the avoidance of doubt, that means it has no meaning. It is unintelligible. It is gobbledygook. It is the effluent of the numerically illiterate.

Oh good - so Scotland unofficially beat Australia and made the unofficial RWC semi-finals then. I'm quite excited - I think we had a real chance of unofficially beating Argentina and making our first unofficial final.

Since when was a try 7 points ?
I did not see a successful conversion, so the official table is still correct.

Also, the disallowing of the try led to Wales going back to take a penalty which they converted, so at most a 4 point gain. It was 12-0 at the time, so the most likely score at half time had the try been given would be 12-5 (assuming no conversion). Even if they then scored the penalty they got in the second half, it would still only be 12-8.

What you need is points per money invested. I can’t be arsed though. With the abortion of a kicking game employed on Saturday I’m fùcking delighted with third.

WR's apology to Wales fans today is justification for Dai's persistence in pointing out the incompetence of the officiating.

Most of Dai's efforts however resulted in locked threads and threats of a ban. The officiating here reflects the officiating of that try. #Verybad.
