SA TEAM OF THE WEEK (Round 1)

15. Andries Coetzee (Lions) - I thought Dillyn Leyds had a better game given the two costly mistakes by Coetzee
14. S’bu Nkosi (Sharks)
13. Lionel Mapoe (Lions)
12. Damian de Allende (Stormers)
11. Aphiwe Dyantyi (Lions)
10. Rob du Preez (Sharks) - Damian Willemse for me, Junior missed too many tackles and goal kicks
9. Ross Cronjé (Lions)
8. Nizaam Carr (Stormers)
7. Cyle Brink (Lions)
6. Kwagga Smith (Lions)
5. JD Schickerling (Stormers)
4. Ruan Botha (Sharks)
3. Ruan Dreyer (Lions)
2. Malcolm Marx (Lions)
1. Steven Kitshoff (Stormers) - Jacques van Rooyen schooled Thomas the Tank

There is so much bull shit in this ...........Jon is a complete twat. He plays to populist audiences....and even so I highlighted the good picks. The rest I am sure he just added to find a team to post. He also excluded players that should be there like WW

That was an encouraging start from all three teams. Rustiness aside, they all showed some real promise.

Will be good too see what the Bulls bring to the table next this weekend.

With a new Bok management team on the horizon, it feels like the reset button has been hit so all players are going to have an equal shot and proving themselves.

Seriously. You really need to get a grip, Kapie. The above are some of the main reasons we were so shite last year.

Carr was better on Saturday than Whiteley though. This is a team picked after only one week, can you read? Not meant to be a Bok selection....
That being said, by the time the Bok team gets names it better look completely different to that kak posted above

I don't think any of the 12s were really exceptional throughout the games.

After watching the various 12s in action...surely DDA must be SO FAR down the pecking order atm.

Odendaal, RjvR, Vorster would and should all surely be ahead of him. And to think we still have Frans and Serfontein as 12 options as well.

Yes. Said last year it should have been him and Serfontein in the midfield for the Bulls. Rate him.

Either way. There are/should be at least 5 players ahead of DDA for the 12 jersey.

Also, I liked the look of both Bulls 9s. Just as long as Cronje gets pushed out please.

He likes looking for work. Good.

Of course he will have to work on his defense and high ball skills, they all do. But this lad has .. something.

Quiet and effective. Hopefully he can get a kick up the backside and shine (depends on the ball supplied by the forwards, as well)

Big lad, we can use him.

Dreyer still getting mentioned

Gave away at least two more penalties at scrum time on Saturday again.

Only one. He is a good prop but has a technical problem which doesn't seem to get fixed

Almost 100% sure there were two, regardless of what the stats say. On at least two occasions I heard the ref referring to him for the penalty.

Over extending. Moving his legs backwards, to get lower, then leaning into his oppo and losing balance.
