Expecting us to be whistled off the park regarding the breakdown if we play like we have so far. Up to us to change and adapt our style to keep on Barnes's side though so we can have no complaints.

Think Barnes might actually favour us in this one. If he doesn't allow a contest, we'll control the game from 1-10 and Scotland's defence ain't as solid as Wales.

Can see this being high enough scoring though, given our defence is looking shaky. Maybe a similar game/scoreline as Wales (hopefully without the late drama!).

If Sexton has a meltdown off the tee again I'd like to see the kicking duties go to Murray straight away - those missed kicks could have been so costly.

Like Murrays vs Racing.

If we score 4 tries and so do they but we win, I won't care.

If England win without a bonus , that would put us 6 clear going into the last match. It would be a done deal.

The missed kicks didn't cost us as much as people think because the first miss was actually a two point gain, not a 3 point loss.

:?

How many attempts is Sexton allowed before the duties should be handed over? I don't care who takes over duties but to suggest that your outhalf should continue to take penalties when they are having an off day and their are other options on the pitch is a bit mad, no?

Barnes allows a contest, but generally sticks to the laws fairly well, rather than the free for all some refs allow.

Suspect the Irish are better setup to deal with the Scots than the English, you look after your own ball a lot better than we do. Would like to see the Scots win it though!

Is this not slightly unfair? A country (and a province) vs a provincial backwater of the UK?

I think we'll win this, home advantage and away wins are really looking rare. Don't know if we will win with a BP, but it would be amazing if we did. That would be the tournament clinched then, wouldn't it?

If England don't get a winning bonus yes.

Yes and you guys Barlinnie gaped England, which makes you 20 point favourites.

I'm sure there's probably some permutations to go through, if England win vs France and we beat Scotland (both without BPs), then denying England a BP win in Twickenham will have us take the tournament too?

Hopefully France pull off some sort of miracle in 12 days time and save us the tension :D

Correct me if I'm wrong.... but are the passports not identical between the Welsh and yourself?

Scotland to win with 4 try BP's for both us and Ireland and France to beat England with no losing BP sets up an absolute firecracker of final day for this championship.

Us then wanting England to win on the final day to take the title as we gun for a BP in Rome.

Ref is not going to be a good ref for either side I fear.

I just hope he doesn't shit the bed like he did in the Ireland Wales game a few years ago where he reffed the first and second half completely different.

No they can have theirs in Welsh if they so wish.

Yup, and touchline conversions are always 50/50. The 2 really bad ones were the first half one from in front of the posts, and the tap-and-go in the 2nd half.

Ireland are a much better team than England, but being away from home notwithstanding, I think we are even better set up to compete in this game than against England.

We defended the rucks/mauls really well on Saturday and lets be honest, that's 90% of Irelands game, plus Ireland's defence out wide is a little suspect. I don't expect a win but I think it will be pretty close.

But, that stadium....

I fear you'll find we won't be as monumentally stupid as England were and we'll actually protect our ball in attack.

I think you'll probably score a few tries, maybe even 4. We'll see if we can keep ahead of you on the score board.
