Well done Oz. Nice to beat a higher ranked team away. SA showed it's by no means a done series though. Some more good contests coming up.

If De Kock really got that personal (the SBW stories) he should be sanctioned. It is just not done.

Competitiveness is one thing, being an arsehole another.

No surprise Warner's being a twat again. Guys like him are even worse winners than they are losers. Takes some doing, but there you go.

Any sport is about intimidation on the field, but friends off the field.

Warner is an arrogant prick. But he is a very good cricketer like de Kock. Any sport is about intimidation on the field, but friends off the field.

There are limits. Family, wife, kids. That kind of thing.

Nothing wrong with calling someone a bunny, or fatso. Or ugly. But leave the family stuff out.

Business can be like that, too. Some meetings are all about some guys' cock sizes. Or so they think, until I whittle them down ..... Without having to recourse to families.

EDIT: Maybe I am still old fashioned. But sledges like that invariably lead to physical confrontation, blows being struck, etc. etc. No need to be a bitch, be a man.

De Kock took it too far off the pitch. Frankly, he's the dickhead in this situation.

De Kock's the twat here. There are certain things that are not done off the pitch and what he did well and truly crossed that line. Must be hard for some to accept that others are just as big of a pack of plum as our team.

As per Thomas and brat (allegedly) ...

Quote:
Warner restrained after alleged De Kock barb about wife

Cape Town - The reason for the first Test bust-up between Australian opener David Warner and Proteas 'keeper Quinton de Kock is reported to be due to personal barbs the SA star made regarding Warner's wife, according to the cricket.com.au website.

... Australian skipper Steve Smith alluded to the personal nature of De Kock's comments in his post-Test press conference.

Warner's wife, Candice, is an Australian professional ironwoman, surf life saver and model. Prior to her marriage to Warner in April 2015 ...

She is perhaps most infamous for her "toilet tryst" with All Blacks star Sonny Bill Williams at a Sydney hotel in 2007 ....

Wasn't there a personal sledge made towards McGrath once by the Windies? Way worse than what De Kock could have said?

Yes Ramnaresh Sarwan asked McGrath how his wife Jane is going. Jane was going under treatment for breast cancer at the time. Debatable whether Sarwan was aware of that.

Nah, McGrath asked Sarwan what Lara's cock tasted like and Sarwan had the presence of mind to immediately shoot back with I don't know, ask your wife...

and then McGrath lost it.

Was it Ian Botham, when asked by an opposing fielder when coming out to bat once,”How’s your wife and my kids” who replied “Wife’s fine, kids are retarded”?

That's not how it went at all. Mgrath was being very abusive and didn't like it when it was turned around.

What did Davey say to Markram when AB was run out?

"Hard luck old chap, it can happen to any of us"?

Not sure, but GOAT Lyon dropped the ball on ABdV's head ... or nearly.

Series is set up nicely . Glad to see some proper venom out there again. Warner is such a little bitch - hard to feel sorry for him. I know an ex-girlfriend of his very well- he treated her like shit apparently.

Unfortunately, without Steyn, I dont think we quite have the firepower anymore, but should be fun to watch anyway ...

Sooo hypothetically; if I told you I screwed you Mom up her ass which she enjoyed immensely and you took great offence to this probably truthful statement and killed me...will you still be the poor little victim?

Last I heard Steyn should be fit for the 3rd test. Don't know if he will be picked however.

By then, we might have to gamble.
