Ngidi in for Morkel, which is a bit of a gamble, I feel.
Mind you, at least he hasn't got any demerit points .... yet!
Man this is why I was never a cricketer, come on boys, Australia has done excellently well...bastardsRinkals wrote:We need patience.
Yes, they've weathered the first ten-fifteen overs and can now start cashing in.odd144 wrote:Man this is why I was never a cricketer, come on boys, Australia has done excellently well...bastardsRinkals wrote:We need patience.
Well, his bowlers are spraying it everywhere and leaking runs.brat wrote:Shit captaincy from faf..commentators curse..Warner should’ve gone
Hasn’t all been shit..lots of edges and beaten the bat.. bit of luck and better captaincy you could’ve 2 wicketsRinkals wrote:Well, his bowlers are spraying it everywhere and leaking runs.brat wrote:Shit captaincy from faf..commentators curse..Warner should’ve gone
But, yes, on the defensive far too early.
Bancroft and Warner are enjoying this. Nice friendly bowling and not too much pressure.
Your wicket.Rinkals wrote:Philander back on, but I rather think he'll find it difficult to peg them back now.

These interval breaks keep taking wickets ...Thomas wrote:Your wicket.Rinkals wrote:Philander back on, but I rather think he'll find it difficult to peg them back now.
Philander's value comes from his accuracy and his ability to bring the ball in and take it away.handyman wrote:You'd think that, but you'd be wrong.Rinkals wrote:Philander back on, but I rather think he'll find it difficult to peg them back now.
Not really.brat wrote:Hasn’t all been shit..lots of edges and beaten the bat.. bit of luck and better captaincy you could’ve 2 wicketsRinkals wrote:Well, his bowlers are spraying it everywhere and leaking runs.brat wrote:Shit captaincy from faf..commentators curse..Warner should’ve gone

Do you think the right thing by replacing morkel?
Not surprising really, he's got 100% backing of his skipper and all of Arsetralia back home.DragsterDriver wrote:I don’t follow cricket- but I can’t believe the front on warner over sledging.

Look he just happens to have great talent for cricket, if he didn't he would be some drunk bogun with 6 kids to three differnt women, living off the dole! Nothing the skipper and the Australian public fabricates will change that for anyone with two brain cells in their heads...now fùck this, Proteas need to get him and Smith cheaply or its another loss.grievous wrote:Fark youre a twatSandstorm wrote:Not surprising really, he's got 100% backing of his skipper and all of Arsetralia back home.DragsterDriver wrote:I don’t follow cricket- but I can’t believe the front on warner over sledging.

At some stage du Plessis will have to throw the ball to Ngidi or Rabada, and then we should see Warner up the anti.guy smiley wrote:Test cricket's a funny old game... a slow start, a flurry of runs, then a couple of quick wickets. Smith will probably settle in with Warner, keep him focussed and they'll see out the afternoon session and close to 100 runs.handyman wrote:Philander doing all the damage at the moment. 106/2 after 31.4 overs, Khawaja gone for 4.
wicket: OUT! Bowled. Lungi Ngidi to David Warner. Seaming in length ball, down leg side on the front foot defending, missed. Beauty of a delivery from Ngidi. He finds the tiny gap between bat and pad as Warner reaches out for the ball in front of himself. Off stump bail is sent flying and South Africa are jubilant to see the back of the left-hander.

3 wickets in 2 overs!

To be quite honest, if you look at how discomforted Rabada is bowling to Warner, you can see that sledging actually works!
