"Irish Govt ‘Paid Press’ to Promote Plan to Grow Population by One Million With Mass Migration"

http://www.breitbart.com/london/2018/02 ... migration/

There was a time not so long ago when Irish mums and dads would have supplied the population increase themselves. What happened?

Pretty hard to increase the population that quickly!

Bit of a xenophobic article, to be honest.

It's Breitbart, if it were in print it'd have less value than the stuff you wipe your arse with.

It's downright fúcking racist.

What's ironic is that Breitbart are making fun of the Irish government for actually planning for the population growth forecast by the Central Statistics Office.

No shit, it's Brietbart. A racist, xenophobic arsehole of the internet. The headline photo of the article is racist dogwhistle drivel.

It's actually fake news as well. We're the fast growing nation in Europe, with the highest birth rates

Shame on the OP.

Breitbart are conflating several issues in that article. Issues which are serious in themselves.

Irish government has been caught paying, bribing, Irish media with Irish taxpayers money to write "positive" reportage about government policies.

So we should remove all funding from the IDA, Failte Ireland, enterprise Ireland, etc?

It's impossible for a government to promote the country without promoting themselves. It's a nonsense point.

There's an ethical argument about articles being printed without balance but we're long past anyone caring about that, or anyone taking many articles out there seriously from an objectivity point of view.
