The man is such an utter moron. Decades of grooming by a Brahmin Yale clan and he still comes across like a dopey grocery store manager.

He's almost certainly more intelligent and experienced in global affairs than you ever will be.

More experienced in global affairs. You nailed me there.

Yes, it is certainly outrageous to suggest that a former two term president with a father as a president and from a powerful political family who has met Putin many times......would know more than some guy on a rugby forum.

That's Bush the war criminal you're talking about?

I was laughing at the lame putdown, of course he's more experienced in global affairs than me. So what?

He's still a f**king idiot in spite of his "pedigree." The dumbshit brother who ruined Jeb's shot.

When we compare him to you, he’s incredibly intelligent.

And then we go quite a few steps downwards, into the lowest of low strata of "human" intelligence. And then we start evaluating YOU.
The Pits, they call it. Close to the amoebae.

Did you parasite on anything today, yet ?

I know somebody who met dubya a few times over dinner with the ambassador? in London. They said he was very intelligent and the American public like a ‘good ol boy’. All part of the act.

If you can imagine it the odds that Americans know someone who knows someone etc is greater than you in the UK.

Clearly you're a bit dim, so the point of that comment was that Bush knows Vlad very well and his behaviour with the dogs explains his mentality quite well.

Also knocking his intelligence is so 2005. Please find something else to do.

There's probably numerous interviews of Bush around if you want to have a look?

Sadly posting photos of a 1 second snapshot of time it took for him to pull off a poncho certainly makes you more than just a bit dim.

Police officer who attended the scene also in a coma according to Sky.

A dead copper would make it a lot more difficult for the government to turn a blind eye/just pay lip service to this sort of thing.

Although not sure what their options are and what leverage they actually have these days.

No need to. I lived under his administration so know what I'm dealing with. A few silly human interest pieces won't change it. Most of the world's serious problems today either emerged or escalated under his inept "watch." Shamed the Bush name in a way his brother never did, probably derailing a political dynasty.

You, & the rest of Europe; could stop buying Oil & Gas off the plum !

Use the leverage to rein in the ME, & offer to use their O&G supplies, & leave Vlad with a economy totally dependent on commodities, he can't sell, unless he learns to act like a vaguely civilized member of the human race.

They also poisoned the copper who was first responder. Sounds like he’s just as sick. Makes it a much more major incident.

They used a Nerve Agent within the UK. Nerve agents you may have heard of are Sarin and VX. It was toxic and indiscriminate enough that not only the target of this assassination attempt were affected.
The UK should be going banana-shit over this type of rogue behaviour, even if they were normally fine with people being murdered withing their borders for political purposes.

As they did nothing over Litvinekco it's unlikely they've now found a solution. Putins is one dangerous M Fucker.

Well, they did actually do something. They investigated extensively and proved Kremlin involvement. Yes, that's 'all' they did but as we all know, escalating from that level is difficult and beyond the scope of a few blokes pontificating on a rugby forum to accurately define. It's also a decent springboard for further action if it's judged necessary. I wonder if the Champions of Brexit feel up to taking Putin on directly over it all now?

That's fair enoigh. If the UK were fine with those two wierdo assassins leaving polonium all over London, they sure as hell aren't going to complain about a bit of Sarin.

Good point- wonder how punchy the eu feel that it’s happened in a member country?

Again, what realistically can the uk do apart from wave it’s fist at the sky?

Sanctions?
Convince Trump to go along with the bipartisan agreement in Congress and the Senate to impose their sanctions?
Provide support for Ukraine against the continued Russian acts of war?
Invite Ukraine into NATO?
Confiscate Russian investments in the UK?
Relegate Chelski into the 3rd division?
Boycott the next World Cup? (harsh, I know)

Tbf- I wouldn’t fancy going to the World Cup there x(

We’re a piss-ant little island, we’ll make some noise about it all but there’s nobody in Europe fancies tackling Russia. Nice wake up for Germany to start meeting their NATO payments.

Who gives a fudge, every single country around the world knocks people off, all the f**king time, with the Yanks and Israeli's leading the way.

They should be going for the Irish, next.

You mean commitments not payments.
