More like the humanities departments have decided that 1984 is a manifesto rather than a cautionary tale :frown:

A group of people calling themselves London Antifa stormed a right-wing talk at a London university last night, with the intention of shutting it down.

Hundreds of people turned up to attend the talk, which was was put on by the Libertarian Society at Kings College London.

Masked activists grabbed microphones in an attempt to end the speech, which was by speaker Carl Benjamin
I can't quite make up my mind whether the "anti-fascists" are someone to be worried about or to be laughed at. I take it everyone agrees there was only one real group of fascists on display at this talk?
Don't be a bitch

It's hardly a fantasy.
It's bollocks. Also if you want to post evidence, at least paste the paywall stuff.
I'm not sure you could say it's bollocks about Evergreen and Missou for example.
No, but those kinds of institutions are beyond the spectrum of rational stuff. They are also universities and I'll agree humanties and arts in Universities have gone fairly radically shit for brains. Your average school teacher is not. I'd wager half of school teachers would vote Conservative if they didn't keep f**king schools with cuts every time they are in power.
