Chika never learns. He'll keep playing his dumb rugby at test level hoping for a different result.

And I agree about the size. Size and physicality matter at test level.
What are your thoughts now? The Pooper outplayed their bigger counterparts and the Wallabies were in their own league when it came to physicality. Or do you disagree?
It wasn't Pooper, it was Pocock. And our lineout was shit.

If we had a good 6 and an 8 I'd start with Pocock at 7 and Hooper on the bench.

I’d agree. Arnold has some experience under his belt but is in his prime. Rodda has a part to play too in this and the next RWC.

I'm just happy me have three violent human beings all jostling for the lock pairing.

Also Simmons.

I’m sure Rory was very pissed off that he missed the violence on the weekend. Worth letting him have a crack at them next weekend for 40-50 minutes.

Anyone who thinks you can get away with only 2 lineout targets (and no, Hooper is a novelty turn only), has rocks in their head.

It's notable that we only competed on the Irish lineout after Tui came on.

The Irish did nothing to exploit this advantage on the weekend. They won't make the same mistake twice, and the ABs never will.

With Tui, Hanigan back in the frame, and McMahon on his way home, I reckon we'll see Samu dropped, like, for ever. Which is sad for him, after all the fuss.

0 chance. Why would you change a winning team that will be better this week for having played together last week?

Not sure if he will or not. The Irish definitely will and I’d be willing to bet that our 23 will not be identical.
Just because they win does not mean they cannot be better.

No shit - just the changes you’re suggesting aren’t any better, and quite possibly be worse.

Coleman may be injured anyway, so Arnold or Simmons might start.

But its a fair question. The Reds have the talent there in the forwarda. 5 of the starting 8 are Wallabys. One is George Smith. What are the Reds doing?

Sat out training yesterday apparently. Has been playing with a cracked sternum since last year. He reckons he’ll be right to go on the weekend, but you never know with these things.

9 and 10 awful. Many of the players very young and still learning to gel as a team. There is very little depth among the reserves. Some Wallabies like Higgers just aren’t that good.

This year is however reminding me of Mooeny’s last year - not great results, but a lot of promise.

Hopefully the Irish are feeling even more pain; Genia easily outperformed Murray due to Murray getting belted IMO.

Yes, Murray got smashed a few times. The hits from Koroibete and Beale were masterful!
A few of them looked gun shy after the first 20. As the replacements came on they did the same. Even Simmons! I was impressed.

Watched the game again - Coleman was terrifying. Even though I knew no one was killed, I still feared for the survival of those oiris pigs on the replay.

Tell you what though, that Irish lock Ryan is the real deal. I was skeptical of all of the ‘next Nobody’ chat pre-game; however he was outstanding in a beaten pack.

Could be the same XXIII this week; however I wouldn't be surprised if the only changes we see this week are to the front row.

Tupou for Kepu
Latu for BPA

Perhaps they'll throw Tui in at 6 to provide more line out options. I really liked the look of Samu when he came on. Hopefully he can get more minutes this week; especially as the Irish pack are going to have blinkers on Pocock. Having said that, we have a plethora of not-tall back-rowers so it's hard to have them all out there at once.

I personally wouldn't like to see it, however Cheika might throw caution to the wind and make bulk changes for this week. For the first time in memory, he's got a full-strength squad to choose from and plenty of players in form.

BPA to the bench and Latu to start, I reckon.

I dunno. Maybe they'll start Simmo because our lineout was shit.

Definitely think an unchanged team is an excellent idea. Let the cunce gel together.

Interesting how some are posting like we have won the Bled and all our issues of the last ten years are behind us.
If that's how the Wallabies are thinking they will get potatoed.
I'm sure they are not but a game plan of just Foley on a stick with high ball wont be enough.

Hey! Here he is! The rugby guru!!

You don't think the Wallabies can improve? You don't think there's another gear? What I would like you to address is the brutality and physical domination that was handed out by a team that contained the Pooper. You must have been thrilled, right?

Have you watched Arnold play this year? He’s probably been the form Aus lock in the Soup...

His all round game has been superb - he was the top Aussie lineout taker prior to suspension, he possesses a strong ball running/offload game, kills mauls and has been smashing folks in tackles and rucks for fun...

Having said that, I would be wary of tinkering with the squad but could see him either swap with Rodda, or more likely Tui on the bench.

I'd be happy with Arnold to come into the team. Reckon he'll grab Simmo's bench seat if Cheika sticks with the 6/2 bench.

Australia has quality depth at 1,3,4 & 5. This is weird.... A few years ago we had Pek Cowan at LHP with Nathan Sharpe up his limited arse.
