If heaven is filled with cvnts as bigoted as Folau I'd rather go to hell anyway.

Sounds like it'll be good craic. Are people who get paid handsomely for work on the Sabbath also on the list?

“St Peter, can you hear me?”

“Yes, Lord”

“Look, my on field decision is a try but I just wanted to check if the prop committed any sins on the way to the promised land”

“... I’ve checked all the available footage, Lord, and it looks as though number 3 has committed the deadly sin of Pride”

“Thank you, Pete. NO TRY!”

Maybe you can still attempt the conversion?

That must have been a long, long, long time ago...

I've lived here for a few years now and it's the tits... wouldn't live anywhere else in Melbourne.

Do you think the religious types are willing to be converted?

It was years ago tbf

I was wondering why half the people didn't have to pay on the bus till they all got off at the same stop outside the methadone clinic and I figured they get free public transport there

I was reading Dantes Inferno(or maybe a reddit post about it), and the first circle of hell sounds pretty good. Rolling green hills, castles, all your needs met and no Christians.

Paisley St, where the bus stops run along is still ground zero for the local junkies and a few other sketchy characters... but I've learned to tolerate them more than the insufferable hipsters of Brunswick.

Might have just been luck to be in that area.

Was a load of us camping in a camping ground near by for the ashes

My daughter's in Seddon... haven't been to hers yet but it's bound to happen sooner or later. I'll be sure to keep an eye out for sleazy looking Brumbies supporters slacking around the metho clinic.

Actually.. I just realised, her mother's somewhere in Melbourne although I don't know where and I've got an ex in Yarraville. You're living close to Ground Zero dude.

Seddon is very nice...

I'm actually closer to there than Footscray central as I'm near West Footscray, which is also a plus as it's also filled with good food (a lot of Indian/Dosa restaurants) and some of the best cafes out this way.

I thought you meant Seddon, NZ for a moment there. I briefly slipped into judgemental mode when you said it was nice but then thought I'd show some tolerance in the spirit of the thread.

Got to have respect for Folau for standing up for what he believes in. How old is he? We will welcome him with open arms in South Africa.

Bloody good player. And a steadfast man, with the courage of his convictions. We need a few like that.
Just doubt that we have the money for the lad ..

I think he'd rather go to a country where he can practise his religion in peace than stay for the money. He sounds more South African than Australian.

Man of principle. Like his wife. We need such, always. Here he will be free to practise his religion, share his thoughts. And play decent rugby.

What ? Folau cannot play decent rugby ? Or South Africans cannot play decent rugby ?

We've won 2 out of the 6 RWC's played to date, that would suggest we can play rugby quite well.

Some Ozzies reckon they are the heirs to the trans Tasman glory - but, the Boks are around tenth on the list of world rugby, so we are shit....

Christ, if you'll pardon the reference, on a stick.

As I am not religious and my views on organised religion are firmly in the negative, I find this sort of blind obedience alarming. These nutters are a menace.

Only the Christian ones of course. The ones blowing people up, well ... you're not a racist.

Considering you generally misunderstand what others write, it's no surprise you wouldn't understand what you wrote yourself.

Please choose the most appropriate response:
a) Imagine how many RWCs you would have won if you were racists
b) God hates South Africa so much he no longer makes baby jesus cry over the country
c) Boyzone called and they want their best years back, as well
d) all of the above
