A bit of a tired excuse to keep on blaming humidity.

The Sharks play in it every year. I'm sure they have the skill level to deal with it. If they don't they need to be replaced by those who do.
Played 5 seasons in Durban. Humidity is not an issue for handling.
That's not what Sards says.

A half decent team would have beaten the Shorks. Chiefs were shockingly poor. Didn't even deserve the bonus point.

Very disappointed with both the Chiefs and the Clan today. Losing is OK, but playing shit rugby isn't. No excuse for that...

Best bit of todays game was the final whistle.

The boys were cruising, they always knew they were in control. Keeping it at low intensity for a tough game in Argentina next week.

Bonus point loss isn't too bad considering who we were missing. Moral victory.

Only a 4 point loss? That's a clear moral victory to the Chiefs C Team. Magnificent.
Just enough to delude the more easily impressed Sharks fans into thinking their team is competitive, just enough to gain a bonus point while not fielding their 30 first choice players (or thereabouts). I seem to remember a Sharks stalwart fan (when not supporting the Stormers, that is) being very clear that a loss within what... 7 points away from home was the same as a victory even with a full strength team. Help me out here Sards, how many point was it?

Right, that kind of obnoxiousness is out of my system. Wish the Chiefs could have had a full strength team, but they paid the p[rice by not managing their squad better.

Well done Sharks, enjoy your well deserved victory.

One thing I know. You can't look a gift horse in the mouth. The first team may have lost by more and injuries

Didn't see the game but happy with the points.

It was a "damned if you do, damned if you don't" game for the Sharks. Like I said earlier in the week, these types of games are always closer than expected.

Should have been 4/4 for the Sharks vs the Kiwis. f**ked by Berry vs the Canes but decent all round.

Chiefs gave it a decent shot, performed better than what I thought they'd do ... will actually be happy that their broken ass team picked up 5 points in SA.

+1

Quite how the Chiefs are 5th overall is a mystery given what's happened.

Looking forward in their season:
- I think they'll struggle vs. the Tahs this weekend as well - LOSS
- Vs. Saders at home - depends on suspensions and injuries and AB resting
- Landers away - usually lose
- Brumbies @ home - should win

And go into last game probably needing to win to stay top 8 - home game vs. the Canes

I think at best they'll get 6 points in next games - which i doubt will be enough to finish for he QF's.

So then the play-offs will look like this:
Quarter-final One – Number 1 vs Number 8
Quarter-final Two – Number 4 vs Number 5
Quarter-final Three – Number 2 vs Number 7
Quarter-final Four – Number 3 vs Number 6
Semi-final One – Winner QF1 vs Winner QF2

At best they would play the Canes / Saders, very best away to Lions.

Can’t believe we got that close.

A bonus point in those circumstances could be golden
