Facebook wants your naked photos to stop revenge porn
Facebook is asking British users to send naked photos of themselves to the social network, to try to stop revenge porn.
If you're worried an intimate photo of you could be shared by someone else, the idea is to get it blocked before it appears online.
Similar technology is used to try to stop the spread of child abuse images.
Facebook's been testing the system in Australia and is extending the trial to the UK, the USA and Canada.
A spokesman told Newsbeat the idea is open to people in the UK now.

It's a real techie answer isn't it - in order for us to prevent us sharing pictures of you in the nude, please send us pictures of you in the nude.

It's all about the face detection, surely? Who would give a fudge otherwise?
Once concerns are flagged by one of their users, couldn't Facebook just use the existing profile photos to scan for revenge porn?

Tattoos can identify a person even if their face isn't in frame.

Good point. These Facebook users are unlikely to have posted many photos of their tattoos on their profile. Back to the drawing board.
