Was there much in Genia's injury? I haven't seen it but read this morning that Australia feel it was an off the ball hit. Is Healy likely to be cited?

I see your media are using the term king hit!! Such an Aussie reference.
Fox Sport have a headline with king hit! So sensationalist.

I think the only person who saw it was Cheika as there has been no footage of it. It has also moved from murder to rape to manslaughter to king hit to shoulder during the day

I'll accept a lot but "your media" and the inference I am Australian has gone too far. That may be accidental but it's a low blow.

Rewatching the game now. No view of Genia injury. The Coleman one was a hit by Falou.

Despite the very best efforts of the ref, the game was great. Delighted with the win, I really am.

I didn't get to see the match but I listened to radio commentary throughout, courtesy of Mick Corcoran and Tremenjus Lenihan.

We shipped a lot of injuries today. This will have a big impact for next week, I think.

24.40 on the match clock ..... not in the direct camera shot, but Genia runs past Healy and literally doesn’t break stride arriving at the next ruck after the lineout .... proceeding to flash a lovely pass out from the base of the ruck ...... supposedly 3 seconds after being “king hit” by Healy

Not sure what damaged Genias arm/wrist but there was minimal, if any, contact. Cheika should be done for defamation for branding the incident in the same category as an assault

He comes around the lineout and runs into Healy. Can't see anything but he was clearly in trouble. Must have fallen.

Just shows how tough Genia is.
Healy assaukts him viciously and he can still make a good pass.

Nah he needs to work on the glare. It has the look of "where's the next one of the fcukers going to come at me from?" as opposed to a Donnacha "where's the next one of those fuckers I can get after?" vibe to it.

Funny how the Irish brush off foul play when it is done by their own.

Very enjoyable series this so far. Definitely the best rugby series this June by both sides. Ireland looking the most consistent side in the world at the moment and Australia look to be playing some very good rugby in matching them.

The foul play that no one has been able to show to anyone nearly 36 hours after the match ended? You try hard kunt.

There was no foul play, it's Cheika doing his usual BS of creating controversy in the media.

Here's a video of it: https://twitter.com/andymcgeady/status/1008319502524674048
I don't know how that broke Genia's arm, it's unfortunate he's out but there is nothing in that.

Didn’t do anything to his arm but he was intentionally taken out of the play. He could have been an option on the inside. They should have taken play back to that from the next Irish score and disallowed it?

Healy has as much right to get back to the line as willy has to try and provide a supporting line

'King Hit
A term widely used in Australia. A very hard punch, usually delivered to the head, that is completely unexpected. Most often results in knock outs or knock downs. '
