Crikey. Things have moved on since I did mine.
I did a geographical analysis of house reposessions using data from the bank. Plus analysis of of the effect of the internet upon the continuing existence of banks on the high street. I got that right. They will disappear.
Plus other bits about the economic effects of the rise in petrol prices.
But what do I know?

won't lie - is the only bit you got accurate ya dumb mick, norks are not really up there in my vocab, unlike say Bangers
I also use a > for the bell-end on my ASCII jizzing cocks to make it more Space-blaster like

I enrolled in an online MBA and my work experience to date was sufficient to meet the entry criteria. The course is structured much as Achahoish laid out.
I am doing a specialised MBA in Supply Chain & Logistics. There are 11 subjects, 7 of which are core and 4 elective with a project/thesis at the end. The process guides you through a Graduate Certificate in Management, which I attained last year, to a Graduate Diploma in Management, which I am doing now, and then the Masters proper next.
All of the subjects are level 8 or 9 on the Australian Qualification Framework (Im doing this through an Aussie institution) and you can provide evidence of prior qualifications to skip through some, but not all, of the core subjects and you must do the final 4 plus the project/thesis to get a Masters.
So for someone like me with no prior tertiary qualification at the start, this is pretty much perfect. You could whip through this in two years but I am saving my summers for myself so only doing 4 subjects per year and studying from March to October each year.I'll (hopefully) finish my Diploma this October and do the final part next year.
So, with no tertiary qualifications I signed up to, and aim to complete, an MBA from scratch.
I could go on about this for a while because I am quite enjoying it - but you get the gist.
Just having the textbooks has opened up new ways of thinking for me - its good
Cheers. I work in the Oz tertiary education sector so know all about the AQF. Didn't know you could build MBA's with Certs and Diplomas. Seems like a reasonable way to recognise experience and if you do find the going tough there are two exit points with qualifications that stop it from being a wasted exercise.
Are you doing it with AIM (the management version, not the music one of course) - they seem to be a well run shop, no registration or accreditation conditions which is almost unheard of these days for private providers.

Been looking into this a bit myself, albeit a few years down the road. I'm working in analytics and I'm probably heading down an overly technical route in my career at the moment, so considering this as a way to break out from it a bit. My employer will pay for about 10k of the fees over two years but would have to pay the rest myself so it's a big investment. Would be starting penalty in 2 years at the soonest. Interesting thread though.
