That's an extremely tough run home. Once again the Crusaders cop a manifestly unfair draw which sees them play really good teams at the business end of the competition. Suva?! Seriously? What the actual f**k? A week after flying back from South Africa. If SANZAAR wanted to kill off any remaining momentum that we had left, they couldn't have planned the draw any better.

Isn't the Suva something you should take up with the Chiefs?

It was a figure of speech. I'm not saying that SANZAAR has intentionally back loaded the draw to ensure that the Crusaders struggle to make the semi finals. I was simply suggesting that if there was a conspiracy against the Crusaders then they couldn't come up with a tougher finish to the regular season that we have. Suva, ffs!

Yeah, just what we need, Mo'unga and Bridge getting loose in the bars of Suva. Mo'unga spitting kava at anyone who looks his way. This won't end well.

The scrums:

Image

Quote:
Even more impressively for the Lions their win rate has increased when they’ve had to pack down inside their own 22, winning 25% (4/12) of opponents’ scrums in that area, while the Highlanders have also fared well in the same part of the pitch (3/11 – 21%). Meanwhile, the NSW Waratahs (2/6 – 25%) and the Sunwolves (5/20 – 20%) have recorded the best success rates against the feed inside the opposition 22, instantly turning their opponents exit strategy into an attacking opportunity at a better rate than anyone else.

At the lineout it is the Highlanders who have been the most adept at disrupting their opponents’ throws. They’ve won – either via a steal or forcing their opponents to concede a turnover or penalty – 19% of the throws they’ve faced this season, the best ratio of any side.

However, it is the Rebels who have been the best at stealing the ball outright at this particular set piece; of their 24 lineout wins 17 have come from a Rebels player beating their opposite number to the catch, no other side has recorded as many individual lineout steals.

So the Saders are guaranteed a home semi unless the Canes win all of their games with a couple of bonus points and the Saders fail to pick up any more competition points.

I was correcting my friend Jensrsa - he had in his list (A) when it corresponded (H) - but you are right that we can't trust in the least in this game. Like the Pumas, Jaguares finds it difficult to take on the role of favourite.
