Oh come on! :uhoh:

Other than DPRK coming to the table, what has his administration achieved?
He's managed to roundly piss off all the US allies and trading partners. He's failed entirely with some of his more headline campaign promises (Wall, Obamacare). He's been dogged by allegations of links with Russian diplomats. His White House staff seems to have a revolving door hiring policy. Obama managed to make some progress in bringing Iran in from the cold, but Trump's torn that up because his entire mission statement can be described as "Undo any Obama achievements". Communicates primarily via Twitter in messages that a child would be embarrassed to write. There are countless examples of him being an utterly vain, ignorant dickhead with no social grace or diplomacy. He seems incapable of getting his head around the concept of mutually beneficial agreements and only like to strike deals where he's seen as the winner.

Yet he's already achieved more than Obama did in two terms?

hey I didn't say everything he did was good, just that he did stuff

Obama did what, give same sex marriage the go ahead, Pan asia trade (which DT says was awful), and got a bit cosy with Cuba. Not much done for 8 years really tbf
Obama is a yank version of Gordon Brown or Jim Callahan, won't be remembered for much apart from being a black muslim. (I know he's not a muslim, but plenty think he is just because of what his name sounds like)
hey i do stuff

Poll needs a “too early to tell” option.

Pretty much, it feels like a "nothing-burger" at this point but all peace has to start somewhere.

Why they need an expensive summit and couldn't just chat while at the hairdressers is beyond me. They clearly share the same barber.

What's a nuclear bomb worth on the open market these days?
2 x Rugby World Cup Final tickets
Seen the price? I'd go for one

Jebus, that Trump twitter thread ... would they ever just give the guy a break ?

No one is perfect and he will be criticised whatever he does. And it was all a bit one-sided ... no balance ... unlike our own Trump threads (somehow ?) ...

So, no one can be too surprised that it contained nothing of substance however, this was a historic event. Statement itself is bland yet does pave the way for further negotiations to achieve the goal of denuclearisation of NK. Of course, the Orange shitgibbon will claim the meeting itself is the best, the most significant ever but let’s wait and see

Trump crossed the DMZ this morning. He is knocking it out of the park - like no president since Clinton ironically. Who would have thunk it.
