Thought for a moment we might have had a new, restrained and low key modest Globby but he promptly walked into a bear trap set by yeeb where he could not help but brag about his rock star mates from yesteryear. Normal service resumed I fear.

It's yeeb. Bare trap surely.....?

Who give less a flying fudge?

Half the reason for his rampant ego is all these threads made up about him.

it wasn't a trap, as I genuinely don't want my personal details investigated or published by any random internet people, I am just refraining from any posting about him or his tales.

The closest I got to Status quo is that an ex of mine was extremely good at Tennis and was at same club in Surrey or coach or something as Rick Parfitts son Rick jr. Which if is anything like his old man, means I've kinda stirred his porridge !

I don't lie. Not bored at all. I'm sorting out my lawn, which needs some top dressing and overseeding.

Plus organising a family holiday trip, probably to the BVI.

And commissioning a painting of the Happisburgh lighthouse, which is currently being restored.

It's the only independently run one these days.

Will that do?

Don't be IH. I've just been a bit busy.

For the record, I am happily married, not needy and did play a bit.

The Management is attending to the three grand kiddiwinks in London while I sweat on a very awkward problem with our North Bridge.

Part of it is Grade II listed. I've been out taking a video of the structure.

None of this is rugby related but just chat.

I'm happy with that. I've no-one ever on ignore and never reported anyone.

About what? I've never lied on here. It's just become a "Have a Go at Globus" fest for some.

I am simply relaxed and amused.

But happy for you to stick me on ignore. You've turned into a bore.

Good thought.

I've set a crossword but it is truly fiendish. About half the answers are archaic, rather like me!

Might have a shot at a poem.

A Limerick maybe?

"There once was a poster from Oundle"

Add your ideas.

There once was an old fart from Oundle
Who did nothing but verbally ramble
He refused to stop telling lies
Despite PRs warnings and cries
That he would be beaten to death by broom handle

I'll just brush that aside.

I'm not being chased off by pathetic nobodies.

Get a life, you need one. I'll just sit back and watch you make some of you idiots make fools of yourselves.

No point in having a go at me. I've been around the block.

And shall retaliate. As any decent rugby player will do.

Some on here should be on knitting classes.

Two of those sentences contain glaring errors, which is unusual for you.

Just laziness.

The Management is in London with the kiddiwinks and grand kiddiwinks.

I'm blasting away at a very tricky local problem. Give me a bit of room.

I pop on here for a bit of light relief. It is not the centre of my universe.

I'm devising an interesting bit of stuff involving some local artists.

Life should be enhancing, not endlessly critical.

I try my best to keep the wheels oiled here.

We've gone to Nissan now. Our Kuga was the dog's whatsits but the skid control and running into 4WD went a a bit awol and Ford could not fix it.

It was also a diesel. We've shifted to petrol.

We enjoyed it very much. Took us effortlessly to lots of places in Europe.

If you want put protective covers on it, here's where to go.

http://www.overthetop.co.uk/

They are very good. Thankfully our covers have slotted into the Qashqia perfectly.

I'm still weeping at the loss of the Porsche but I really could not handle it any more.

It was one of the last off the line before they had to go green.

<Sob>

Have a good time.
