I might go. They are up the road from me. Technically Trailfinders are my local team but I support Quins in the premiership.

I'll go if anyone else is. I'm free as it's summer holidays and Quins are the easiest club to get to for me (bar Richmond).

It’s at the.Stoop. Away game for us now that my Trailfinders colours are firmly nailed to the garden post.

Hate the trip to Twickenham but I’ll go if others are.

I think they may only open the west stand, maybe east as well if enough tickets are sold.

The website seems to be selling tickets in the west and DHL stands. But they could be nominal seats.

After watching Quins vs Glasgow today I am unconvinced of Quins' ability to put Ealing away.

I suggest owe book seats but then try to sit together, can’t be that big a crowd!

What you get Daniel? I’ll book adjacent.

Suggest maximum pre game drinking seeing as getting home from there is a pain in’t Tits

I didn’t see the game, but to concede 50 points against a second string Glasgow lineup is a massive setback.

The forwards we selected would not normally be our first choice apart from Bothma and Symons, but would be in our usual 23. Swap Brown in at 15 and the backs were pretty much first choice.

Very, very worrying. Particularly given defence is Gustard’s specialism.

I’m very concerned that the likes of Ashton and Solomona could have a field day in round 1.

Backs were far from first choice - Saili, Walker, Visser and Brown would start.

Saili might be first choice if he's ever any choice, Walker isn't first choice for me. Visser/Brown yes.

Lang in particular looked well out of his depth sadly.

I disagree. I mentioned Brown and I agree on Visser or Walker, but I think Earle has been signed as a starter so it would likely be an either/or.

It’s definitely debatable whether Saili would be first choice. He’s barely been able to make the pitch and Tapuai has as much chance of being our starting 12 IMO.

By my reckoning we were two players off our starting backs, three at a push so not ‘far from first choice’ at all.

I'm not sure there's any evidence Earle has been signed as a starter - he's only scored 9 tries at senior level in this country and he's already aged 23. Walker record is far better and there's no way Visser isn't 1st choice. I'm judging Saili without taking injuries into account - as soon as anyone is injured they're no longer first choice!

Walker has 40 tries in 67 starts (Visser has 30 in 59) - which other winger do we have who is remotely close to Walker's try scoring rate?

I'm in block FF in the west stand. My seat code is LEX/FF/C/0157

I had a bit of a struggle with the website, they didn't email me the ticket to print ad the website states "ticket printed" so I'll be on the phone tomorrow to them.

I'm fine with this. I still need to grab the train (still a track from the stadium) and a bus to get home. I'll deffo be free whenever you are able to head down.

Yeah, I was pretty WTF? This is a pre-season game. I find it even more audacious given the performance of Quins for most of last season they can't even claim to be an elite club.

FML, they're charging £25 to watch a match I've played in a couple of times.

I'm too old for this world, I need to get off.

I played against ealing at 2's and colts level, back when they were London 1

we always used to win :smug:

SW1 >>>>>>>>>>>>> L1

also played a decade later v Grasshoppers, at a tad lower level

we always used to win :smug:

EM2 5ths or whatever >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> South Middlesex Presidents 3rd XV

I played against Ealing's 2nd XV a few years after Mr Moneybags turned up and they were rising fast through the leagues. They were fecking huge, christ knows how Hammersmith and Fulham 4th team ending up playing them but we kept them to a modest 20 - 0 victory.
