Sexton is not top 5 creative. He is a very good No10 with no obvious weakness in his game.

A very very good reliable player.

Ok, I'll go for that

Doesn't really work with Moriarty.

Anyway, cam over egging the pudding a bit there.

Let's be honest though...Sexton went down a little too easy there. Moriarty isn't that much bigger than him. He went down like he'd got shot with an elephant gun.

when you're blindsided thats typically what happens, it is Sexton's fault though in that he presumed Moriarty wasnt a sucker punch throwing kind of an ar5ehole - should have know better.
ps has Bastardo joined the Sextonmetoo hashtag ?

Even were that true it doesn't preclude him being a bell end, if anything it'd probably make it more likely. See Carlos Spencer or Cipriani.

Ref should be protecting all players.

trouble is when they don't.
one of our players suffered a dislocated leg last year thanks to one of them ...
Best bit was that he told the player to stop faking (player was hit after we were awarded a penalty and play had stopped).
he also asked us to move him...

the opposition player did not even get a warning.

two ambulances later and with a doc in attendance play resumed (about 1h 30 minutes later )

While I don't condone the hysterics portrayed by Sexton in this gif, that is a stonewall yellow if not red card and anyone arguing against it is a pure mong

It doesn't make the hysterics ok though. The lad needs a good kick up the hole

Ballox!
Sexton had been kneed in the head before he was rolled.
This sequence is a fabrication.

Look at this .gif closely and you will see that the first Irish player over the ball is number 4 (Ryan) who magically transforms into Sexton
Watch Hogg 15 become 12 Dunbar, who rolled Sexton.

These are 2 gifs editted together.

Between the 2 gifs, Dunbar has kneed Sexton in the head in the ruck, which is why he held his head.
Can someone find the real sequence and post it?

BOD fights back and even has a pop at Gats. Is there no end to the shame?

It’s no where near as bad as that one where Homer sinks into the bushes and next thing you know he is out of the bushes, wtf!

He's actually far from being a big fanny, and is one of the bravest 10s in the game. I think he has milked things in the past, but I'm fairly sure that he didn't in this case, where he went down instantly and without any drama.

He’s so so brave

I think the Wail have cracked the lucrative Irish click-bait market.

Sorry to resurrect this, but ...

In the Leinster/Wasps game Lowe made a great break in the first half, got to about the Wasps 22 and passed inside to Sexton, who couldn't hold the pass. As Sexton made to catch the pass Le Roux made a half arsed attempt at a tackle and bumped Sexton, who fell over. First thing Sexton does? Grabs his head. At no point did his noggin make contact with either Le Roux or the ground. Seems like it's either a habitual reflex he's developed or he genuinely has a sensitivity to contact and needs to be properly checked out.
