While I don't condone the hysterics portrayed by Sexton in this gif, that is a stonewall yellow if not red card and anyone arguing against it is a pure mong
It doesn't make the hysterics ok though. The lad needs a good kick up the hole

Ballox!
Sexton had been kneed in the head before he was rolled.
This sequence is a fabrication.

Look at this .gif closely and you will see that the first Irish player over the ball is number 4 (Ryan) who magically transforms into Sexton
Watch Hogg 15 become 12 Dunbar, who rolled Sexton.

These are 2 gifs editted together.

Between the 2 gifs, Dunbar has kneed Sexton in the head in the ruck, which is why he held his head.
Can someone find the real sequence and post it?
Now we're adding the grassy knoll into the mix

He's actually far from being a big fanny, and is one of the bravest 10s in the game. I think he has milked things in the past, but I'm fairly sure that he didn't in this case, where he went down instantly and without any drama.
He’s so so brave

Sorry to resurrect this, but ...

In the Leinster/Wasps game Lowe made a great break in the first half, got to about the Wasps 22 and passed inside to Sexton, who couldn't hold the pass. As Sexton made to catch the pass Le Roux made a half arsed attempt at a tackle and bumped Sexton, who fell over. First thing Sexton does? Grabs his head. At no point did his noggin make contact with either Le Roux or the ground. Seems like it's either a habitual reflex he's developed or he genuinely has a sensitivity to contact and needs to be properly checked out.

I just clicked on that Wales Online link and then to manage cookies - they literally must have 50 different partners that they are selling your information to - and you have to deselect them individually. What a bunch of wit kant!

Oh and if you asshats insist on engaging with Anon, would you at least have the courtesy not to quote him.

Fair enough ...but he does have form for similar actions! 😉

For what it’s worth I thought he had a great game on Friday - best I’ve seen from him in a while. He seemed sharper and quicker.

It can be a struggle, I’ll admit ...but not one you’ll be too familiar with, given you likely sleep where you fall in your tar-stained, hi-vis ovies.

Yes. Head injuries are very serious. It’s disgusting the refs have ignored so many of these head traumas and not sent Sexton for more HIA’s

It's good to see another highly respected man of the game call a spade a spade and tell it like it is:
Eddie Jones: Johnny Sexton 'has the bat phone to the referee'

England coach Eddie Jones has stoked his rivalry with Ireland by claiming again that fly-half Johnny Sexton gets preferential treatment from referees.

"Sexton has the bat phone to the referee. When he talks, the referee listens," said Jones.

"That is because of his status in the game - you earn that, like [former New Zealand captain] Richie McCaw did."

England coach Jones said in November that his own number 10 Owen Farrell did not get the same protection as Sexton.
