Think this must be your best work yet, Jeff. A lot packed into only 2 pages. Top 5 for sure.

We've no problem with the odd culchie

Not like half our team is made up of lads we consider "D4 toffs".

It's cute that you think we're rivals. It would be like fellow who support Malahide 1sts hating the 2nds

I've been disappointed enough with our team over the years not to get too arrogant. You lot were arrogant before you ever won anything

The transformation in Andrew Conway from hyper-D4 rugger gent to skinhead Limerick scummer over the last few years has been nothing short of astonishing.

We don't want to see that do we

"Local" teams made up of lads from all over the world in a desperate attempt to pursue success

What's that got to do with your 10 diving? He is yesterdays man anyway, Carbs will be Irelands 10 going forward

Not while he is playing for Munster he wont.
Basically he has been sent out to a lower level club to get some playing time and build experience before he can come back and play for the full team.

Think man city loaning out a youngster to the dutch eredivisie or championship..

You are more Dutch than you realise, your attempts at humour, I mean honestly ffs

Im being deadly serious. The above is widely accepted as the current situation.

Also - in cases I am trying to do my shit humour at least its a joke of my own making and not a stolen one off mullet.

You do have to wonder where the game is going sometimes with such brazen favourtism shown from referees. :((

Well it seems Welsh commenter cubster24 from your article has found the answer.

Quote:

Smash him and his fellow green jerseyed friends as much as possible. They play illegally every game so it’s about time the wheel turned and they got a bit of pain. Referees are soft with them and equally harsh with anyone who slightly over steps the mark with them. World Rugby and the Pro 14 has too many Irish representatives on their respective boards and this obviously has a massive influence on decisions on and off the field. Equality for all, regardless of the colour of their jerseys!

Thanks Kid A, more proof of the clear attempts by thugs to end the career of one of the game's best players.

As I said at the time, if you pretend to have had a head knock, you should be treated as if you did.

I recall Pape doing a similar thing at about the same time. Went down as if pole axed when pushed in the face, then was fine once the player had been red carded.

To avoid any doubt, the Sexton incident was a clear yellow, the Pape a clear red for the offending players.

While I don't condone the hysterics portrayed by Sexton in this gif, that is a stonewall yellow if not red card and anyone arguing against it is a pure mong

Pretend to have a head knock?

Are we watching a different GIF? His head hits the ground. You don't have to be concussed to have a sore head, you know?

Sexton does give it loads but he did actually get a bang to the head there.

Because at the time, Sexton was accused by a few journos / ex players / publications of "feigning injury".

OK, exaggerated his head knock.

Everyone and their dog knew Sexton was exaggerating, my point is that he and Pape should have been treated according to the reactions exhibited.

He was flipped in mid air and driven into the ground. His shoulder hit first and then his head bounced off the ground. Definite YC, marginal red.

That may well all be true (and I think that's more Red than Yellow myself), but him throwing is hands up in appeal and then bringing them down on his head isn't a good look. It's a really f**king bad one and he deserves the shit he has taken for it. Not to mention it had the complete opposite effect in that it takes attention off the illegal act and onto his behaviour.

Of course now the plebs of this world accuse him of diving and playacting all the time (exhibit A - Jeff and this thread), but sure what can you do once you give them the ammunition in the first place. It's the only time I'm aware of that he has done that and yet now any time he gets hit you have the bored's plant level IQ brigade going off on one

Fair play this is an awful head knock that Sexton takes here. Huge blow to the cranium. I can see why he holds his head in agony. Very dangerous to strike a players head like that. Really, really, really awful blow to the soft part of the skull. Must have hurt lots.................

He's not afraid of a cheap shot to the head either is old Johnny. Doesn't like to take them though.

Now I'm no hero unlike most of the hard nuts on here.

I play rugby most weekends at a shit level unlike Sewa who I believe togs out with Shannon 1s.

But in my experience of 14 years of adult rugby it is extremely common for lads to react for the initial few seconds after something happens before the shock and adrenaline wears off and you realise you've hurt yourself.

That brazen and ostentatious, maybe. It's nowhere near the only time, though, that he's made more than a meal of a contact. I won't be able to gif backup like Kid A, unfortunately.

I wish, I have lost a few games against them (U20's) and the Bull did an absolute number on me, that was a long time back though.

It has gone softer, HK. You can’t seriously deny that. So soft that simulation is now entering the game from some disgraceful players. See nakis gif as a more obvious candidate.

It’s all (softening) been done in the name of player welfare, and he makes a very valid point.

All the talk in terms of player safety is about protecting the ball carrier but to be honest I don't see too many ball carriers knocked out these days, it's more defenders.

Cardiff ball carrier was red carded last week

KidA can you make gif’s of the late hit’s on Sexton by Itoje and Tom Woods. Think it was 2017 6N’s.

Itoje makes several late hits in most of the games I’ve seen him play. Remember him late hitting Stuart Hogg in the 6Ns and again in the CCup QFs. The 6Ns one resulted in Hogg going off injured.
