I went from 1 grandchild (my son's son) to 3 on Thursday.

My daughter's wife gave birth to twins on Thursday, a boy and a girl. Weight 1.1 kgs each, about the size of my hand. Both are doing well. :)

The 4th grandchild is expected towards the end on November, my son's second child - a boy.

Unfortunately none are expected to be future Boks as my kids are soccer fans :x

Congratulations Jensrsa! We have thre grand kiddiwinks. All girls. M is coming up to 4 and the twins, J and A just had their first birthday.

We are off to Wobbledom this weekend to baby sit while their parents are at a wedding.

The great advantage is that you can hand them back and skedaddle when they throw their toys out of the pram (literally).

One of the twins will be a right tinker, as we have found.

Move all the porcelain to a very high shelf.

I bought M a recorder, as I wanted to get her into music. She's driving everyone crazy.

Congratulations Jens. Must be nice to have a fresh generation of babies in the family without the hard work of parenthood!

Perhaps if they can't sleep you can offer to read them Elton Jantjies' autobiography ;)

Globes, I'm looking forward to it. My son is up in Joburg so I don't see my grandson much but my daughter is in Cape Town, only 40 kms away. Unfortunately the twins will be in the hospital for about another 2 months before they come home

A lot of hard work ahead :) My first grandson is name Alex, after Alex Ferguson. Getting the kids into rugby, let alone Elton, is going to be a tough job given that my kids are ManU fans

We love Cape Town. We stayed in Constantia last time out. (We like wine.)

Time you got on the case over the Wendyball preference. Needs early knocking out of them.

You've been buying that recorder since early 2017.

Congrats - hope the tiny ones build up their strength quickly.

We've got 5 now (11, 10, 8, 4 and 2) and I think my son and his wife are planning another, within the next 18 months.

They are great fun. Hopefully, by the time the youngest of them grow out of wanting to spend time with us, the next generation production line will recommence.

Not sure of the date. She has a harmonica too, but that's here.

Need a few more years before the guitars come online. Hoping to build a family band for fun. I'm drumming.

Congrats.
As a father of twins, your kids are buggered. two is not double the work, its exponential.
But at least in SA you have cheap help...

Soon you'd be doing the fun things with them like fishing, university mathematics, mortgages etc.

Congratulations on the grand kids but you clearly failed as a father.

Sorry to say but he's right Jens. First responsibility of a rugby person is making sure their kids/grandkids/nieces/nephews love rugby.
