I asked this a while back on the Irish thread and I think the general consensus there was that the bull market has a bit to run yet, but I’d be interested in hearing just how much longer other boredies think the Leinster clique can keep inhaling their own farts before suffocating?

While its all rather unseemly for fellow Leinster fans to be goading the English on foot of an abject Wasps performance, the other Irish provinces are fair game IMO

I understand the lines are pretty well drawn in Ireland, but will there ever be the chance for leinster to split into two regions?
Surely some serious talent gets lost(akin to Beirne) given the competition for places

It already has they are Called Leinster and Not Leinster

No. Beirne is an odd one. Just wrecked with injuries and couldn’t catch a break. Didn’t help we were poorly coached at the time. The guy who sorted his injuries out was an Irish guy who was the head of sc at scarlets. He’s since moved on to bigger things and now works as the head of s&c in the Leinster academy or win academy.

I was actually more smug around 10 years ago

I was in Edinburgh in 09 for the win over Leicester which saw us get the monkey off our backs.

I texted a Kilkenny pal who (along with most of the province outside Dublin) was an avid 'Lunster' and told him to get his shit together ..... cos Leinster were just getting started.

Even if we go back to being average again (like under MOC), we'll still be competing at the business end of the league and European cup, given the academy structure we have.

Well, yeah, but besides that. We need to get a Dub back on the Tour de France again, then my smug will properly lift off. Can’t really count Nico Roche, even if he did go to Rock.

Must admit. I’d love to see a full strength Leinster face a full strength Crusaders at a point in the season where both are playing. An Easter special.

Please, when Leinster win the grand slam we will have reached peak smugness.

The final of the WC should rival it also.
