Good picks NZedder, one of only a few people tipping Wales (who I kind of fancy myself)

Of course the ONLY person so far to tip England is CrazyIslander but then again he's an Islander. And he's crazy.

Interesting strategies both - it means if we have any upsets these 2 punters will score highly in round 1.

Thought France/Wales would end up more even than that.

Wales to win now gathering some momentum.

Damn ! By flagging up a lack of support for this option I may have inadvertently sabotaged my own 'alternative' strategy to take an early lead in the tourney ie. going for the opposite to what everyone else has chosen in the tight games.

In all seriousness though, not sure why this fixture is being considered as such a tight call by the bookies. IMO the only thing France have in their favour is the home advantage. Wales have much better winning form over their last 10 matches (France lost to Fiji last time out ffs) Also by far the better form in the last half dozen match-ups between these 2 teams. Most importantly where these respective teams are in their 'journey'. France have been a shambles over the last few years whereas Wales under Gatland have been relatively successful and consistent against all-comers for a long time. They are happy with the underdog tag in this year's 6N only because Ireland look so strong right now but don't write them off to ruin Ireland's Grand Slam party in the last game (and maybe win the whole thing themselves) Of course to achieve this they MUST deal with France first. It won't be easy but I think they'll do it.

@easyray - welcome aboard. We're offering a choice of 4 charities - see opening post. Would you like to nominate one of those?

@EverReady - welcome aboard. Do you want to nominate a charity. Assuming Ireland as your 'team of choice'!
