i think they had a lot of players pulled in Leinster

They fired Werahiko recently (he only got them to the title last year).

Trinity beat Queens away from home 20-6 earlier. The firsts are having an excellent season.
9 points clear at the top of the table.

That's the team with Marshy, Warren Larkin, Paddy Lavelle and all those lads isn't it?

Yep. Although Marshy's playing for the 20s. Warren's benching these days and Paddy's starting.
THe captain, Joyce, is the OH so Marsh will have to wait until next year.

As a team they're going really well. Super defence and they have the belief now. Last year I think there were 7 LBPs, about 5 of them were losses by within a penalty. This year they're winning those games and building the momentum.

Unfortunately we (J1s) haven't won a single league game......

Lansdowne are going to be f**king unreal in a couple of years and are already climbing. They're still poaching but with Ruddock at the helm their poaches want to come to them now and not just for money. He's got a couple of last years Ireland 20s to defect and will only get more. If you were a promising player now and were picking a club from school it would be Lansdowne

f**king wit kant

Just looking at the fixtures for 2A this weekend. There was a nice top of the table clash.
Trinity (1st) played Queens (3rd) and DLSP (2nd) played Seapoint (4th)

Trinity and Seapoint won (both away from home) so we extended our lead over DLSP by another 4 points and Seapoint jumped Queens to 4th.
Only 4 games left to keep up the momentum and keep top spot. Then it's hopefully into the playoffs.

It'll be Trinity and DLSP going up I'd say. We've yet to play Seapoint while DLSP and Seaspoint played yesterday. DLSP are still ahead of them and I'd put money on us beating Seapoint in a few weeks.

Trinity put Inst away there. 49-15. Inst intercepted and ran 50 metres with the last play of the game so it was even bigger hammering than it appeared.
Absolutely lovely day for rugby.

Willie where are all the Ulster clubs in the top division?

You have more schools and underage players than any other province, yet you SUCK at adult level.

Pathetic

Pfft. 1b is where its at.

'Gannon have a game in hand as well, promotion beckons if we get Jackson, Farrell and Nelson back and firing.

Just letting you chumps know.

A good few of the 06 lads got '65' on their arses before the Cup that year, there was no doubt they were going to win.

Division 2A champions. :smug:

The lads beat CLonakilty 71-14 down in Cork to win the league. The forwards were giving out about the match; the bonus point and league were sown up after about 20 minutes and they just spent the rest of the match walking to set plays and then chasing the wingers up as they made linebreaks in the heat.

Good win against Garryowen.

Mary's game in two weeks will likely decide the league.
Must win for both teams. Hopefully 'Tarf will do the business.

Number one against number two 'tarf ahead by a single point
a home side win would almost secure the league For the bulls.
Note Mary's are second...
