What say you?

Have this argument a lot with my coworkers. I say - meat and cheese only as tomato paste is a vegetable.

Pizzas should only have a few toppings. None of this loaded up bullshit.

I quite like roasted capsicum on a pizza and the potato and caramalised onion pizza (with rocket and balsamic vinegar on top) that my wife makes is amazing.

Get out of here with your fungus as food. Mushrooms are the only food that once they smell like wet dirt you know they are cooked. That is not at all appealing IMO.

No offence, but if you can't handle mushrooms, then you shouldn't be on a culinary based thread.

Mushrooms are terrific.

Seconded on the idea of potato.

As Thomas says, capsicum is brilliant.

Pumpkin and fetta on a pizza works well too.

Do they not enjoy food in Wales Jeff? Or is this something NZ has bought out in you?

I like all sorts of food, but I'm all about the sanctity of the pizza. As I've got older I've come to realise that even though you can put a whole load of different combinations on a pizza, you really ought to A. Only have a couple of ingredients per pizza, and B. Only have a handful of good quality options to choose from.

On a pizza, I like to pair the neat with what the animal ate.

Therefore:

Rabbit and Rocket
Beef and Kale
Pork and kitchen scraps

Strawberrys on a pizza?

Serial killer trait right there. Bigger red flag than torturing animals as a kid.

I wanna make a Meat Lover's Pizza where instead of a dough base, it's just a massive rump steak.

And a seafood pizza where you replace the base with a flounder. And put seashells and sand on it.

Cheese can be a vegetable eh? Cows eat grass and it becomes milk and then cheese.

Grass is green; ergo, it is a vegetable. (Like the Irish rugby team)

You want to eat the Irish rugby team? Thats a bit overly sexual for this thread.

there's no hope for people like you.
Growing up in the hood I'm conditioned to fight snobbery wherever I find it, be it movies or be it pizzas.

The Helm Bar in the Tron does an awesome kumara pizza.

Pineapple on pizza is gross. I only want sauce, cheese, meat and possibly some pubes or jizz if I've offended the staff while ordering it.

Love a Spinach and Ricotta pizza.

Anyone that doesn't like mushrooms isn't to be trusted though, and flaying is too good for anyone that puts pineapple anywhere near a pizza (or on top of a slice of gammon FWIW)

Well wet dirt smells like that mainly due to the fungal content.

With a little help from some bacteria.
