I'm a seething mess right now.

Jesus. They've had some ordinary jerseys over the years, but that's right up there amongst the worst ...

It's getting closer to the right colour at least.

Would have preferred a faux collar like the Scots and saffas have.

I think the bumps are grip material to make catching high balls easier.

I don't understand why they don't also release a 'supporters jersey'. Same colour scheme, but instead of f**king lycra, make it out of merino wool, and have a collar, and have it actually comfortable. Have an option with long sleeves even. I'd pay $300 for that.

I don't need a high performance jersey to sit in a pub and call Phipps a plum.

They should take the pattern on the indigenous one, extend it on more of the jersey and make it that

I’m more concerned over the lack of visible diversity and inclusion in the advertising than the horrific jersey.

Those high performance jerseys where not made for love handles.

Switch the green and gold around and that should be the jersey all the time.

They're not designed for anything other than high performance sport. I don't have love handles, but I sure as fudge don't want to sit in a pub/stadium etc wearing f**king lycra, even if it would help me catch a high ball

I have a cotton long sleeved one, from when vodaphone was the major sponsor. 2001 maybe.

Won't get me wearing anything else until something better comes along.

lucky punk that sounds comfy.

I have a AB and Manu one from around the same time, and they are both still a few sizes too big.

Meh, a t-shirt with an ugly "collar" as usual. The PR drive unfortunately reminded me of what a real jersey looks like

I have a couple of Wallaby jerseys:

2001 Long sleeve one
2007 one with built in bra and itchy shit
2015 one with sticky shit on it and the crap on one shoulder
A weird striped one from some Australian Ba-Baas outfit (probably 1994 or something)

All of them were given to me as presents. I'm yet to actually buy a Wallaby jersey.

The 2007 one is the grossest. Just feels like a hessian sack.

Also: https://www.betootaadvocate.com/sports/science-discovers-link-between-ugly-wallabies-jerseys-and-winning-test-matches/

Quote:
Science Discovers Link Between ‘Ugly’ Wallabies Jerseys And Winning Test Matches

Researchers from Australia’s peak scientific body have held a press conference in Sydney this afternoon just hours before the Wallabies showdown against New Zealand to explain that they’ve found a link between our nation’s most ordinary rugby jerseys and winning Test matches.

Speaking to four journalists this afternoon, Dennis Brockman from the CSIRO said that they’ve been looking at old tapes in the lead up to this year’s Bledisloe Cup opener in Australia’s second worst city where they noticed something shocking.

“It seems we win more games when the jerseys aren’t skin tight and collarless,” he said.

“Therefore, we would recommend to the ARU that in order for us to win the Bledisloe this year and the big old Webb Ellis next year, we need to make a visually offensive jersey with a snazzy collar the size of a dugong,”

“Honestly, we’ve put our heads together and this is what we’ve come up with.”

The Advocate reached out to the ARU for comment but have yet to receive a reply.

More to come.

Love the green minibibs around the collar  Also Michael Hooper's eyes. Discuss.

His eyes are worrying, too many knocks to the head?

They're way too close together for a start. They've also airbrushed the shit out of him. I guess it needed to be done.

I agree with Zakar, at least the colour is na improvement. A little more orange, yet.

They haven’t fully committed to the collar but I see the direction they are going.

I was totally thinking that it looked like some kind of sci-fi uniform (but from a 60s or 70s show).

We had the ST redshirt jersey with a lame v neckline ... those Asics shirts are way worse!
