English barbarians v Australian sandblasters

Battle of Ducks. Not a batsman in sight, bowlers all over the shop. The exact opposite of T20 / ODI.
Will any of the tests make it to Sunday or a Day 5?

Let the battle commence. *ding ding*

Archer rested (probably) Jimmy recovering from a groin i think, still no openers, Bairstow a pair at Lords, Stokes averaging low 30s since last Ashes, Moeen Ali pure dirt with the bat, no room for Curran as a proper all rounder or Foakes as a keeper. Not convinced Broad still has it consistently enough for a full series. Havent really moved on in 2 years.

England 3 - 1

My predictions:

Smith will outscore the whole England team in at least one innings.
The highest score by an England opener this summer will be Jack Leach's 92.
England's top three will be outscored by England's bottom 3 in at least one test.
At the end of the tour, Warner will stil be a prick.

Yes, you’d be a little nervous holding 3rd day tickets for the tests this summer.

I can get behind these predictions. Just hope 2 and 3 don't happen in the same test.

Don't think it's legitimate to refer to a nightwatchman as an opener.

Quite clearly he isn't a proper opener - the fact he made a decent score demonstrates this. However, it is in the record books and he will be able to tell his grandkids that he won man of the match for his batting when opening for England at Lord's.

Ireland will have nothing to do with our dismal defeat, the lucky sods.

If you're on a mobile device use the Smartcric app.

Thanks ... but what's the secret to get it started? It's the same as the one I usually use, you usually have to click the play button a few times and get rid of a few pop-ups and then it works. But these ones just aren't working at all. I'm just getting continual Russia 2018 Football pop-ups. :(

That was coming.

The batting decision looks like it was a strange one.

What do you say neutrals, who are you supporting? I'll be hoping England by the smallest of margins.

Terrible decision it seems, though it looked out live. Evens up him not being given out first ball I guess.
