Sleeping tonight.
Cycling tomorrow (and watching cycling)
My friend just finished his braai/bbq/asado in his back garden so he's having an inaugural fire. Should be fun.

Concert in the Park 8)

Only if they get Smith out pretty soon, otherwise it'll be more of a wake.

Someone on BBC Cricket Ticker called Smith & Labuschane: "Death & Taxes"

Saw that. Made me chuckle too.

Friday - working all day, so relaxing night
Saturday - early morning workout, and take the wife shopping
Sunday - early morning workout, and take the wife to dinner and shopping

It's her birthday and I am off to Japan next week, so hopefully after this weekend I will have a little money left

Today I'll be having a few beers at my mate's house then down the pub for a feed and watch Brisbane v GWS.

If GWS win it could be a long night because I'm the only one in the pub comp who tipped them and Geelong this week. :)

Going to a water park on Sunday ... hangover permitting.

Hopefully then still fit for golf on Monday morning.

We're currently looking to relocate, so driving over to Southport and house hunting all day today. Lunch with the in-laws, then driving up to see my Mum in Clitheroe after we are done.

Will have to work most of tomorrow to sort stuff I didn't get to this week, so I can go on leave for the next two weeks.

Getting rid of this hangover. Bloody hell, do not say 'actually, a small glass of port sounds lovely' after a catch up dinner round a friends. 4 people. 4 bottles later. 5am. Jesus.

I'd even consider church if it'd help

Q: What's good for a hangover?
A: Too much to drink the night before

I love port. It hates me.

Hi MW. So you are in The Management's territory! We know Southport quite well. But she sensibly fled further south to here.

I don't drink it anymore. Haven't had a hangover for many years. But I, more or less, remember a session at Kings College Cambridge. It kept on coming, so I drank it. I don't remember how I got home. But know I didn't drive.

It's Nipper from Bloem. He would have been dragged to NG Sondag Skool by his ear every Sunday morning.

Dad hid behind an oak tree in Earlham Park with a member of his staff. The bullets are apparently still there.

He was a proper gymnast. Used to hop up stairs on one hand.

There's also a pic of him with a lady on his outstretched arms. He trained on the rings and could hold a crucifix for at least 30 secs.

That's a proper dad for anyone.

I'm sorry, hold on one second - are you claiming that your father hid behind a tree in an English estate as he was strafed by a German fighter whose primary aim is to escort bombers?

Potentially playing Saturday, but I'm not happy with a pulled muscle at the moment, so we'll see. Watching as much rugby as possible.

Sunday will have coaching the u8s, but the entire club is moving training a few hours forward, so that we can watch the England game in the clubhouse after :).

Got another few new games to try with the kiddies, hopefully they'll enjoy it. Will probably see about continuing that new one from last week too (hands behind backs, and pushing each other out a small square).

Myself I wonder at the claim someone could hop up stairs one handed. I've seen some with far better balance than I manage to hop on one hand, but it's little more than lifting the hand and replacing it quickly without toppling over, the idea you could have the plyometric strength to hop not only one step but an entire stairs is... abnormal.

Competing in the Northants County Fencing championships this weekend, means I'll miss most of the rugby, but should still be able to watch Italy on Sunday morning

In fairness the Luftwaffe attack on Globby's dad kind of turns on its head the philosophical time traveller ethical problem of killing baby Hitler. Maybe the Me109 pilot was indeed a time traveller from the future trying to do future humanity and small town planning application processes a favour. Who knows......

Not bothered whether you believe it or not.

I used to swim/paddle in the River Yare near there.

Friday evening - Because my daughter will be at Brownie camp, we will only have my son to wrestle into bed, so I might be able to slump in front of the telly with a glass of wine before 9 p.m.

Saturday - Lunch and watching the match at the rugby club my firm sponsors. This counts as Business Development and I will be time recording it as such when I get in on Monday.

Sunday - Retrieve filth encrusted daughter from Brownie camp and not much else, I suspect.
