Naas also making a big push - taking 2/3 lads from Lansdowne.

But Lansdowne did sign Harry Byrne.

How much game time will they get from him?

With Leinster's 10 stocks looking rather sketchy, he'll probably be around the match day 23 a lot.

Who's Frawley signed up with?

Frawley still UCD I assume?

Yeah - but they still have Scott Deasy so should be fine.

As above though - Clontarf smashing money into their teams this season.

Dublin Port and Sherry Fitz were always sponsors of Tarf but the main sponsors now are Willis, Ulster Bank, MSL motors, New Ireland and Clontarf Castle. It's a good line up. Wonder is John Teeling looking after his club?

Rainey for us at home

We came 3rd to their 2nd last year and lost in playoff up there.

Considering Crescent smashed the league without losing a game be a good gauge for us too.

Is the bould Brendan Guilfoyle down with you lads - more clubs than Tiger Woods... but he knows how to win at this level.

Is he playing too?

I was at both Barnhall Crescent games last year (know the Crescent 13 very well - so made sense) and Brendan Guilfoyle was outstanding in both games. Looked like he was playing 2 leagues down....

RABA!

Not sure how Armagh will do this year. A few signings and a couple of the Royal School boys have signed. Would be great to stay up.

Good win for Mary's. They were looking a bit dodge with twenty minutes gone but got back into it. Scrum was a thing of beauty. Hinch well able to play ball. Thought Rhys O'Donnell was very good.

Sligo had an excellent bp win over Dungannon despite having to put out a seriously weakened side, so very happy with that. Ballina are absolutely flying in 2c, with Tullamore and Malahide looking in big trouble already.

Barnhall scored 8 tries but somehow contrived to miss 6 kicks... went down to 13 men for a few min and Skerries scored 21.

Great game - tackling optional. Rainey having lost both games is surprising. Navan going so well in 2A is a bit too.

We have you lads next week Lenny - you will hardly be down?

No, won’t be travelling. Was very involved a few years ago but not so much anymore. There should be a few travelling as a big crowd went down to Cork to the Well game last week, but this year is about survival for us tbh so not too optimistic about our away form.

The lino who gave the 'deliberate knock on' against Arnold on Saturday was the ref. 38 penalties too according to Thornley.

Ballina away to stop ourselves going 3-0 :(

Astonished with your results to be honest.

Dirty trip and they are in good form. We played them in a pre season. Gigantic pack

They gave us a bit of a beating in the Connacht Senior League down there in August, and are very confident that if they can avoid injuries that they'll be real contenders for promotion. They do have an enormous pack, but they have a few tidy backs as well, which is why they've racked up a couple of decent scores.

The 13 they have is very tidy - we did a number on them in the backs to be honest in that game but the pack is well able to play at a level above. 7 is solid out.
