Re: Rugby NAMA thread Revisited Rugby
Its a combination of the M50 being at capacity and the closeness of the junctions, and of course selfish drivers. The one that gets me is the guy who, instead of getting into the 4th exit lane good and early, zooms up the outside lane until almost at the junction, flicks on his indicator ( if you'r...

Re: Rugby NAMA thread Revisited Rugby
I've said for years that the RSA needs to run a serious media campaign on motorway driving. How to use lanes and overtake. Clear the overtaking lanes to serve the purpose for which they're designed, and it'll eliminate the opportunity for people to choose to attempt dangerous manoeuvres. Agree but ...

Lads has anyone else noticed how dangerous the driving is on motorways the past years. The risks people are taking with undertaking at 130km etc just defies belief. There is basically no chance of them getting caught as there are hardly any guards on the roads. It’s getting really bad. I've said fo...

Assuming they're going sell 60k tickets as it stands... Were they to cut €10 off the cat 1,2 and 3 tickets to 65, 45 and 28 euros respectively they'd lose the guts of 500k... Which they'd recoup if the sold an extra 10k tickets as a result..everything after that would be a net gain. Carol Vorderman...

Keith Wood calling it an end to the punditry, presumably as his son moves into Munster academy. Loving the cynicism. Shame Frankie SHeahan wasn't as principled when he was representing lads as their agent, and awarding them MotM as a pundit. There are other current pundits representing players…

I know it's a troll, but I'll bite anyway. Ireland are currently ranked No. 2 in the world, after more than a year being ranked at 1. Ireland won the 6N this season after being Grandslam champions last year. Leinster are ERC semi-finalists after being finalists the last 2 years. Leinster played bef...

There was a 5 year gap between Piutau leaving and signing Kitshoff. You’d think you would have been more careful to hold onto Kitschoff so What do you want us to do keep him hostage If he is homesick then no point in him being here Should have done the due diligence to see he has form for this Shou...

Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
Utterly pointless signing. Of course, it’ll be funny if Jordie arrives next year, plays the league games during the 6N, and the away games in Safferland, and then, because all our backs are in such good form, doesn’t make the 23 for the Euro games or playoffs. Similarly for Snyman. And by funny, I ...

The reason the forward pass was bring discussed was because of an accusation that Dickson favoured us. Wasn't it that run of KO games in 2003 that really highlighted that Leinster had a support base that could be accessed? Having been a ST holder since the old Donnybrook days, two things in particular drove Leinster. One was 2006 and the win away in Toulouse followed by the disgraceful scenes in and around LR for the SF. I think the team as well as the fans remembered that. The second was the move to the RDS in 2007....
