Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
Haven’t been able to watch it back but thought the yellow for POM was really harsh. In real time I thought worst you could say was he got his timing wrong but there was plenty of cover and he came through the middle?

Really happy with that performance. They look well coached, fit. Even the likes of Scannell put in a good defensive shift.

That’s a ref who has never played the game. It’s not unnatural when you’re off the ground like that and trying to get your other leg down to the ground. He’s looking the other way. Absolutely bollocks decision. Yeah that’s what I thought. But some on here are saying straight red. Just looked an acc...

I wonder is he planning to start with Murray next week - soak up a bit of their early physicality and then spring Gibson-Park off the bench in the second half to run the fecking legs off their bomb squad. Not a bad shout Not for me, if we want to start fast like we did in NZ, its JGP. Murray to com...

Re: Game of the Tournament: Ireland v Romania, Sat September 9th, KO @ 14:30 GMT
Earls offered little to nothing. He shouldn't be there, and he shouldn't be getting a pass on the basis he's Keith Earls. Another load of bollox, he worked across the pitch on every phase was always on the shoulder, was involved in every try when on the pitch. But I suppose he's not a showpony like...

The lineout is a worry. Henderson is calling everything on himself and they are just following him around. Throw and timing all disjointed. It feels like its turning into a major issue over these games.

I'm not going to argue that all is sweetness and light in Limerick rugby, but a glance at the U-19s listed further up the page shows 11 Limerick reps. So not all tomb and gloom. (That was a particularly strong crop, tbf).

Just rewatched the game, the ref was not quite as bad as I felt while the blood was up during the game but had a couple of really poor calls and misses for both sides. Laws question for the ref nerds here, when Loughman was pinged for getting in front of the jumper (57 mins), Stormers have a backrow...

Wasn't that meaningless. You've avoided another trip to SA. In the grand scheme neither side will win the competition and it was a messy end of season scrap that ended in a draw. And none of the above matters a jot. In these last two weeks I've seen glimpses of the niggly shower of bastards we used...

Brainless from POM. He’s been trying to start that fight since he came out after half-time. Captain needs to be better than that. Ridiculous from POM but so much of that is down to Adamson having zero control over the game. Did they not bring in a rule this year to penalise holding onto the ball or...

What howlers? Only glaring error was calling advantage over and he could probably argue he was technically correct. Maybe the 'knock on' off foot. What else? You are the only one fighting this fight.
