Re: Rank your RWC Finals

1995 and 2003 finals were top notch. After that I'd have the 1991 (people forget how close that match actually was) and 2011 finals. The 2015, 1999 and 2019 finals all had an air of inevitability about them. The teams who won didn't look like losing at all. The 2007 and 1987 finals come a solid las...

Re: What Scares the Boks...

So, how have Ireland done in the RWC? Based on the expectations of Aus, SA, NZ or Arg, they've been absolutely abysmal. However, based on the much lower expectations of a 6N country their results have been: 1999 - atrocious 2003 - below par 2007 - abysmal 2011 - reasonable 2015 - disappointing 2019...

When the Boks come to Dublin , i normally expect Ireland to win. When NZ come to Dublin , I hope for an Ireland win. That's the difference . Nz have so many ways of winning. I don't understand why they blame us for their team not being good enough to play in the final? There's no blame and you deserved to win both rwcs as you can only play what's in front of you But don't try and pretend you didn't have an easy draw in both of those tournaments courtesy of Other teams ...
