Hipkiss was the lad Stephen Jones thought was better than BOD right? Did he say that? Remember when they had that Lions roundtable discussion pre 2009 tour and he picked a team with no BOD/POC in it and I think it was Scott Hastings told him he worried about his mental health if he was seriou...

Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
Disaster about BOD and Best...would echo the concern for BOD now going forward, so many injuries that sadly it may be best to consider what kind of a life he wants to have post-rugby. Best's injury isn't minor either, no neck injury is, especially for a hooker.

Suggestions that Bent may be parachuted straight into the Irish squad...
FFS, the guy is an ITM cup player who is a fairly average scrummager at best by the looks of it..Could be embarassing if they do this.

Not that it wasn't an expected selection, but that Munster team doesn't inspire huge confidence. Good to see JJ get into a XXII for a Heineken game at least, hopefully Keatley goes well and JJ comes on for a spell. The only issue with Kidney going, which he should do in the Summer is who do we replace him with. Schmidt doesn't seem like a goer atm, and COS would need to be bought out of his Quins contract a year early. I'd take Brian McLaughlin or Eric Elwood ahead of Kidney at this stage. Matt Williams would...
