So what you are saying is a landlord with an older property on a big section couldn't afford the higher mortgage payments that big interest rate increases have caused, they couldn't afford to pay thousands to bring the house up to healthy homes standards, then on top of this they couldn't afford a ...

Shane Jones may be a bit of an unlikeable character but what he is saying about the damage to the Gas/Electricity industry is essentially right. So right that that even the economically naïve Greens can't attack his loaded statements. Even the cheerleaders for the left on this thread have gone unusu...

As a non-economist what I don’t get is what is driving the inflation currently. Base costs of manufactured goods are not rising. China is up the proverbial creek. There is no great export demand to push up food products. So what is actually going on? Wages trying to catch up with previous cost rise...

Re: All Blacks 2024
I realise the Reece has been the best player for the Crusaders creating a lot of the attack and scoring tries but he's also blown a bunch of tries. I wouldn't pick him as a first choice wing at 14. I'd probably go for Narawa or Stephenson at 14. I probably wouldn't include either of Tele'a or Reece...

Rieko has definitely improved in that regard though.. just like defensively he has matured with age. Those first two tries against Ireland in the World Cup were from Rieko passes. We'll see though. If Razor doesn't pick him, then we know he doesn't rate him. But who would be better? The alternates ...

Re: SRP R10 Crusaders v Rebels
Lio Willie was great last year carried led a loose forward trio of Sione Havili and Christie to the title win.
He has looked good in limited appearances due to injury so far this season and would not look out of place IMO in the first All Black squad.

Watching the game live and the body language, Richie Mounga was not only a loss for his playmaking and skill but his leadership. The Crusaders backline conferences looked like a bunch of followers looking around for a leader. Also Reihana's kicking is ropey, not just his goal kicking but his punting...

Enjoyed the game and good to get the win but f**king hell the stadium announcer from More Fm was a toss. Not only was awful music played in the breaks but over the game and he wouldn't shut up. I like the look of Laghlan McWhannell as a bolter. he has put the hype at the Blues surrounding Josh Beehre to sleep and I like a lock who can catch the f**king kickoffs consistently.

They also rejected Vern Cotter in favour of Penney. Still our only home games have been against the Hurricanes and the Chiefs. They lost narrowly to the champions in waiting 14-10 and beat the perennial bridesmaids 37-26. It really is a shit draw for Penney almost like he is being punished for Scott...

You are right though get rid of the Brumbies and Moana Pasifika and have a Super Ten and the competition would be alot better in terms of quality.
Unfortunately the Aussies wont go for it though they still think it is 2003.
