I have been going to Thomond since the late 60's and what you say was true then,plenty of creeps on both sides when in Dublin now. I don't think that selection policies from the 60s and 70s have any bearing whatsoever on rugby these days. I think we are seriously under using the AIL,if a guy is fit and not playing HEC/pro 12 or A on any given weekend he should be togging out for an AIL team;it's up to the provinces how the guys are spread around but they have to be getting gametime.A young prop will learn a lot by by playing 60 mins...
