Re: Lawrence Okoye is now 29 years old.
Difference between Okoye and some of the other players mentioned on this list is that most of the others were actually decent rugby players. If Okoye was any good, he wouldn't have been dicking around with discus. I don't think he even got a senior academy deal anywhere (happy to be corrected). Cle...

Re: Anybody tried working a 9 day fortnight?
I've been working compressed hours (4 day weeks) for the last 5 years or so with Monday off to cover childcare initially. Since my boy started school in September, I've used school hours to get a bunch of jobs done round the house that I never have the time to concentrate on at the weekend. I work l...

Re: POTUS-DONALD TRUMP-and U.S. Politics catch-all
The reason I am enjoying this result is that it "might" show Republicans that the benefits of Trump are being outweighed by the negatives. I'm sure right now they'd prefer to go back to a more passive and disinterested voter population. Yep, you have to think that if there had been a concession and...

Isn't Nate essentially arguing for the UK vaccination priority approach, which clearly has been signed off by a scientist or two over here. He's certainly reaching with the 'actually looked at the evidence' piece, but to a layman the US approach does seem nuts. An absolute mountain of people seem to...

Re: Premiership rugby in Covid Chaos
What are the NRL doing that prem rugby aren't doing? Apart from operating in an environment with far fewer Covid cases. Genuine question as they may be doing plenty. The Aussie sports don't seem to play where there's hotspots from what I can see, so once Victoria took off they moved everything away...

Much as it pains me, they should consult with the NRL (as the NFL have done) They're absolutely best practice when it comes to managing this In case you think this is me talking shit? Compare the NRL to the AFL. The NRL have schooled the AFL and made them look like a joke. Miles ahead. This isn’t a...

Although Jamie Gibson has see definitely left, seemingly without a club lined up. Sign of the times I guess, that someone like him isn't walking straight into a new gig.

Sure there will be a little more to the story, so will be interesting to see how it plays out.
He'll definitely be the cheap option for Gloucester (perhaps a little less so now), but he does seem to be on the right track. So many variables though and he'll need a little luck to succeed.

So Gloucester announced Skivington as head coach this evening. LI just released this. Not sure what the angle here is, but doesn't look great by Gloucester on the face of it. Perhaps looking to use a COVID reduction in salary as an initial breach by LI. Who knows though https://www.london-irish.com/...

Starmer was struggling on schools, Covid and teaching unions. Perhaps RLB was his problem and this was a great excuse to eliminate her. As a more general point, Starmer does need his front bench to really step up and drive some of the messaging. They've all been a bit low profile so far. Will be in...

Great to see.
She was given the chance to take it down, but started dicking about talking about statements of clarification.
He's at a point where he can consolidate and RLB has given him the perfect opportunity to get rid of the Corbyn legacy on the front bench.

Why is that rubbish? The UK are taking a risk. The graphic isn't misleading. Do you think you're further along towards suppression?
