Re: United Rugby Championship 2021/22 Thread

Munster - one positive case, Cardiff two. Isolating in SA Munster and Cardiff will not be heading home on Sunday due to positive Covid-19 cases in their squads. Those two teams, along with Scarlets and Italian side Zebre, were all set to depart Cape Town on Sunday via a charter flight. However, Muns...

Re: Is the Southern Africa travel ban justified?

Seems as a bit of a panic move given the current available information. The U.K. moved first and then several European countries implemented a ban as they didn’t want to be seen to be doing nothing. The facts available so far: 1. A novel variant with a combination of mutations not previously seen i...

It makes sense that SA are discovering more as Africa is likely to be a breeding ground for variants, particularly now, with lower vaccine uptake and less surveillance. Africa is a moerse large continent, South Africa is a country in Africa. SA has 19k active Covid cases, the UK has 1m and the USA ...

Pretty happy at how the very, very inexperienced Fiji team ( 59 tournament caps combined) are going so far. Surprised. what happened to their normally strong side?
