Re: Why is Pollard in the Bok team?

It's really time that another flyhalf gets a chance at the Boks. Playing with only one flyhalf just isn't working

Re: Rugby Championship: Wallabies vs Springbokke: MATCH THREAD: Sat 18th Sept

We always seem to trouble the Boks and they in turn match up well against the ABs. In recent years the Pumas have given us trouble. Next week both games will be interesting. The Boks don’t typically match up well to NZ either. There may be an impression they fire up more for the old foe but 3 wins ...

Can't argue.

Nienaber is a puppet coach and the puppet master on Zoom doesn't seem to work.

Congrats Wallabies and Wallaby fans

I had the good fortune today to only watch the first half due to "personal reasons".

Anyone who still think Nienaber is qualified to coach the Boks without his puppet master needs to see a psychologist

Thanks Jens for the schedule. Suppose the local Springboks will only play from end of January for their franchises. Probably from December unless there's an enforced rest Our teams only play early December. Next weekend Saturday, September 25 Benetton v DHL Stormers | 13:00 UK / 14:00 ITA & SA |

Same game plan just executed better? I reckon they might have a run at us. We were not really tested out wide last week. Is that a similar side for the Boks? Essentially the same side, same game plan. Might run it in the last 20 if they dominate on the scoreboard but it's all about a W to stay in t...

Why is Pollard in the Bok team?

Serious question: What does Pollard bring to the Bok game? His goal kicking success is less that 80% (78% before today's game) His up and unders are inaccurate He can't use his backline His penalty line kicks go 20m Bok playmaking is done by Faf and Willie, not Pollard Why is he even in the team?

So what do people make of the Springboks' performance? One dimensional. There is only a Plan A, or so it seems. Seriously - they kick for field position - OK. They look to dominate the set pieces - OK. They earn penalties and get points either from the boot, or the rolling maul. - Still OK. They ke...

Re: Rugby Championship: Springboks vs Wallabies: MATCH THREAD: Sun12th Sept

I see a lot of Saffer lamenting elsewhere about how poorly the Boks played. But credit must go to the Wallabies who forced the poor play by not sticking to the script and play bash up rugby against the Boks No pressure applied by SA, you should of bullied us off the park. We probably had 2 players ...
