Re: POTUS-DONALD TRUMP-and U.S. Politics catch-all
Pretty fiscally irresponsible to have to remake all those flags... Agree on PR but less convinced on DC, I think the special status is more helpful and pushing Statehood in a patently partisan manner will just further degrade the situation. Short of a another Constitutional amendment they could rea...

Impressive. You haven't yet gone through the street I live in, but passed close. A lot of work to so still! How do I recognize you if I bump into a runner? Have I come close to your house yet? My current plan (once allowed back at work) is the finish everything north between Bradley Lane and the Beltway. After that, I am probably going to have to drive to a new starting spot near Langdon School and start the runs there. Everything so far has started at the NIH, but it is now taking me 3 m...

Warren isn't going to get the VP pick as that would allow Mass governor to replace her with a Republican for the first 6 months of the Biden presidency until the special election. For that reason alone I think Klobucher gets the nod before Warren.

I bought a Wahoo refurbished Kickr on Black Friday 2 years ago. It was totally worth it. Riding on a dumb trainer was complete crap for me, I hated it. Zwift on a smart trainer is actually motivating. You can do zone intervals on it in ERG mode, or ride in sim mode. I enjoy the competition aspect, t...

AirBnB can be a blessing or a scourge. We have had a holiday let in a remote Highland glen for decades. We used to work through an agency, then a website, then Tripadvisor made a big change, then AirBnB came along and transformed our business. It was relatively hard for people to find us in the pas...

has anyone actually gone tubeless? Friends and family are raving about it but it seems a bit of a hassle and not easy to get right without the right tools and being of sound mind - both of which may be an issue. See my post above. If people are being advised to avoid crowded places, is it not counter-productive to mail cheques to people knowing they will have to go to a bank to deposit or cash them? I am on day 494 on a "minimum of 3 miles outside everyday" run streak. According to Strava, I ended up doing around 1270 miles in 2019 in 172.5 hours with an elevation gain of 53K feet. I try to vary my route a fair bit, and add in some longer runs, but still tend to get a bit bored. My longest run ...

Both games within 3, but have no idea which way. I also have a dilemma based on the eventual champions. I want Wales to win but do not want England to win, but realise that Wales will have a much better chance if they meet Eng rather than NZ in the final. I am sure there is a Schrödinger's cat kind...

You know, if the dirty opposition players didn't want to get bliksemed, they shouldn't have provoked the kindly South Africans who were just playing the game like the gentlemen they are.
