Re: NZ Politics Thread
I don't think the Greens are in free fall, a couple of bad eggs doesn't mean the whole party is rotten. I just agree with other posters that they set the bar so high with their holier than thou preaching to the rest of us that a couple of incidents as serious as these two makes them look really bad...

Please give me a link. Easy money if you wanted to whack a thousand on it What’s going on? Has the Highlanders team bus gone over a cliff? If JP is quoting NZ TAB odds, sadly you won't be able to join up and bet with them. Other agencies have the game as a coin toss ($1.95 apiece on B365)

Re: Crusaders vs Hurricanes Match Thread
Someone tonight mentioned that Reece had signed overseas this week? Surely that can’t be true? Anyone seen/read anything? I hope not. I understood he was being chased but havn't seen anything confirmed. Don’t quote this but ground rumour mill is in overdrive. He might be waiting to see how he goes ...

I'm the king of reasonableness so I think I've got it about right when I say it wasn't a particularly sensible thing for Sam Kerr to say, and she should reflect on that when it comes to future interactions with the police, but also how the fudge is this even going to trial??

1960s tuck shops were soooo much better than the lot you lot are quoting above. Pies, sausage rolls, buzz bars and soft drinks. The rest can piss off. My standard order on bought lunch day at Hukanui Primary in the mid-late 1980s was a sausage roll, an apple turnover and a Big M chocolate milk. Tak...

Yes. Which is why I said he didn't play tests. Was he good enough to play tests if he had concentrated on cricket instead to trying to do both and eventually concentrating on rugby? Hard to say. He was more focussed on rugby by the time he debuted in cricket. But he has pretty strong cricket roots....

I voted for Cathy Freeman's gold medal win. I still remember screaming and crying when she won and hearing people screaming across the suburb. The 2000 Olympics 200m freestyle relay was also great. Klim broke the world record in his leg of the race and Thorpe came home to smash the USA at the end. ...

Given you seem very keen to move on from your wee corner, can I assume that your naming of Golriz Ghahraman a "Golly G" is either racist or misogynistic, or both?
