Surely debt reduction to those that do and have ? Perhaps a bond of sort for those that are out of training a generous incentive to stay in country for at least a specified length of time . Ultimately it’s not the slightly more money that will keep Dr’s here , there will always be more profitable o...

I will be impacted by these cuts although in my case it will be voluntary. From what I have seen in my Dept is it is either the younger ones taking it before their OE, people close to retirement and those just looking for a change. Tbh I don't think the driver for these cuts is wrong as the back of...

Fair enough, that's pretty poor. My gut sense is that a lot of the investment in these sectors goes to the back office while the front line are left to fight for every penny. It seems like a reset is needed to push funding from back office to the frontline in a few Govt sectors.

Just had a quick look at the offer, it seems better than that offered to most other staff within the state sector, some of whom have had no increases in the past few years. What am I missing? - A wage increase of $5000 from 1 November 2023, with allowances moving by 5.25 percent (not backdated to 1 ...

Re: Anthony Joshua
I see NZ's betting agency has Zhang at $1.40 v Parker at $2.87. Zhang deserves to be the betting favourite, but Parker would be a good value bet to potentially (near) triple your money. This is a good chance for Parker to put himself back up with the big boys, beating Wilder and then Zhang looks go...

What surprised me the most was his takedown defence, he was able to nullify Usman's primary scoring technique and force him to stand and fight which played into Leon's hands. Leon deserved the win and it has the benefit of giving the division a bit of a shot in the arm.
