Re: Chiefs vs Highlanders - Friday 05 March - March Thread

A year ago the Chiefs won 51-14 vs the Tahs in their sister city - the Gong..

And that was an ok Tahs team.

What I’d give for a 1 point win tonight.
And Jacobson not breaking down.

Re: Should NSW be relegated?

Brumbies were very good and executed very well (some lovely running and backline moves with excellent forward play).

This weekend showed that the a reds are still not at the same level.

Harrison playing OK but I’d like to see the red head (Edmondson?) start at 10.

How long does it take to tell 14 professional rugby players with an average over 200 professional games each not to break the laws of the game? Less than six seconds....

We moan about refs not having a feel for the game - how about players.

Good game is a fast game.
Too many stoppages anyway - speed it up, encourage and reward quick play. Where not paying to watch guys stand around, drink, and receive instructions via the water boys.

Good team. I thought Black played well - for me better than RMO - but I have much lower expectations. I’m not sure about Akita in defensive / and for silly penalties but lovely on attack. Eddie Jones - beginning of the end or a blip

Eddie has a really interesting coaching history.
