I loved every minute of that second half, hard lines New Zealand that’s a performance to be proud of.

Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
NZ didn't drop the ball at all against us. 5 times already We didn't pressure them. Gave easy points away early and always chasing. I'm never watching it again but if there was ever a 'how not to play your potentially flaky opposition into the game'... Our pack was pretty ordinary, I’m not sure it’...

Their depth at forward is just staggering- it’s completely overwhelming. And Pollard is a notch or two up at ten.

Probably been done... But I just watched 'Severance' on apple. Sweet jebus it's good.. as in one of the best things I've seen in years good... Anyone seen it? Yep, I watched it, it's great. On Mr Mercedes, I found the first season an utter chore to get through, so surprised it's getting love in thi...

Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
Our other World Cup exits never had me asking ‘what if’ in terms of us actually winning the competition. This one will though. Had we edged NZ we’d be favourites going into a World Cup final. Fine margins. It’s gut wrenching but I wouldn’t over react to that. Boks are a likely favourite next week. ...

Re: Ok Paddies....... so who do we fire ?
I think that the coaching ticket should be given another 6 nations to try fix what went wrong. They need to rebuild the team and address the fundamental issues that plagued our world cup exit. They have earned a chance to show they can fix it IMO If we show up and spend 2 months eating grass they’l...

Going to be a tough few days on here. After the humble response from the Kiwis last night, the braying is starting today. Given POM and Sexton's demeanor and your insufferable pundit class the schadenfreude was always going to be strong. You know with the greatest of respect, i wrote that on this t...

Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
I just can’t believe how ineffective we were over their ball, they just completely hoovered us. It was the pack that showed their nerves and guys like Bundee and Keenan who kept things from getting away. Bundee basically being the best player in the world for 2 months going to waste is yet another r...

Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
Yeah the better team won. Some very nervy performances. Scrum is just not good. We go again lads, hang in there. The better team generally wins. If Ireland had scored at the end we'd have been the better team and deserved winners. That's how it works. Especially in a game like tonight's. Sure but i...

Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
Can’t fault the effort but that was another underperformance in a quarter-final. Maybe not as bad as some others but definitely short of their best tonight. Maybe fatigue who knows? The same as every other World Cup, just a different degree, nerves. Some of the pack were unrecognisable for much of ...

If we lose because Foster picked that gingerheaded Scottish fvck to play the last 15mins of the game I'll be pissed! If he picks the ginger Finlay it's because he thinks the All Blacks will be leading with 20 to go... Roigard is who you need if 10 behind with 10 to go.. There's no way we will win t...

Maybe being positive, but I feel Lowe will play. So, does that put McCloskey straight in the 15 if Henshaw and Earls is out? Or would they keep him in reserve just in case? Hopefully we can still field: Keenan JOB Ringrose Aki Lowe Sexton JGP ==== Murray Crowley Big Stu James Ryan is a massive loss...

Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
Also if there was any question JOB is behind Earls, Easterby seemed to put that to bed! None of this is inspiring.
Anyway at least we have the spine intact- Aki and Ringrose have been wonderful. And the pack is getting better every game. Sheehan not skipped a bit.
