A great essay by a professor in mathematics and one of the best hard Sci-Fi writers of the last 4 decades, Vernor Vinge https://frc.ri.cmu.edu/~hpm/book98/com.ch1/vinge.singularity.html Great read and pretty accurate. The Russians filmed themselves executing a Ukrainian POW. https://www.reddit.com/r/ukraine/comments/11jyiwi/pow_execution/ Be warned it is horrific...but I am glad I watched it. When the kids get a choice of songs my 3 year old often goes for this one, except he don't know what it's called so starts the humming. We know what he means.

Use your phone to help find Covid treatments. DreamLab

There are over 100,000 drugs that we currently use and may be useful to treat Covid. Obviously that is far to many to trial. So the DreamLab app analyses the protien structures of these existing drugs to determine which maybe the best viable candidates for trials. This takes a huge amount of process...

Here's my guess. Sanders will either win or be within 5 points of Biden in SC. Either way, Sanders will win Super Tuesday and get the nomination without a contested convention. Sanders will beat trump by retaking the rust belt in November, but not Florida. Texas will be close but not quite there. Tr...

There's an electric charger in the town.
3 years ago when it was put in, not a car would be seen all week. Then one every now and again, last year there was normally parked there. This week I've seen 2 plugged into it everytime i go past.

My last fill was 70euros. My next car is gonna be electric.

I'm no expert, but wouldn't a missile or rocket have led to a mid-air explosion? If these videos are true, then the main explosion was upon impact with the ground. Still doesn't rule out sabotage of some sort. ISIS have now started training birds for 'airstrikes' .. Apparently no. A plane as big wi...

Great actor and great character. The final Quark/Odo scene was perfect. When my baby girl was born a few years back I did the 11pm feed each night while my wife slept.
