Floppy posted up the fact that the BLMUK twitter account (so the one we're talking about) retweeted something along the lines of, behind every successful black rapper is a billionaire jew. That's not criticism of Israel. No that is clearly antisemitism. I don't do tweets but I see on that link from...

The don't agree with everything "clarification" is about as unclarifying as possible. Which bit don't you agree with? Ending capitalism? Removing the establishment. Using language appropriate for the era a program is set in, rather than the era it's shown in?

I can't say it's antisemitic, but alarm bells do go off when a lefty political organisation starts blasting Israel out of nowhere (and not worse countries) when it's not in their direct remit. Ouch.

And this is the problem. Having a genuine argument about annexation etc, does become much harder, when there are anti-semitic voices trying to push this for the wrong reasons.

ONS report from a few days ago has them believing we're currently around r0 of 1 if I'm reading it right (basically saying same number of cases week on week).

Makes re-opening stuff further next week not look too smart. Though I guess we've got another week of cases to see if it holds.

Anyone use ebay much for computer gear here? Do prices normally shoot up in the last 5-10 minutes? Got my eye on a new graphics card that sells at an awkward hour, and want to know if it's worth placing a bid early (I know I can auto bid), or better to be there at the time.
